We ordered the Italiano Bianco and the Tommi Salami with an order of Wood Fired Jalapeño Boats. All were really good, my favorite was the Tommi, but if you like a saucier pizza go with the Italiano.

I will start off by saying that I am not from the area. I stopped here on the way home from a long car ride. The place is tucked away in a somewhat strange shopping center of many Asian restaurants, which I must admit, had my expectations set pretty low. Upon entering, the young lady behind the counter greeted me and was very friendly. She handed me a menu and I stepped aside to look it over. I only looked at the pizza section, which was neatly organized and well designed. It was reasonably priced, as well. Around $11.5 for a 12 inch pizza. You pay one price for the size of the pizza, the cheese pizza was just the same price as the chicken and jalapeño pizza, which was nice. I ordered one plain, and one pizza with jalapenos, red onion, chicken, and sour cream. The same young lady came to my table and offered me a pitcher of water, which was very nice of her. About 10 minutes go by of watching some younger men toss and spin the crust and cook it in the wood oven, and my food is brought out. The crust was very crisp and nicely charred upon visual inspection. After digging in, the pizza was very light and crispy. The sauce, oh my, the sauce! It was one of the best pizza sauces I have ever tasted! Very light, well seasoned, and home-y tasting. The toppings were great, as well as the cheese. A nice blend of several cheeses. Delicious pizza. I ate the whole 8 inch pizza and did not feel stuffed or weighed down. I will be returning. We also tried the S’mores and that could use a revamp because the marshmallow was a fluff and not an actual marshmallow and the candy bar was still cold.

Delicious! We visited on Sunday morning when another restaurant was too busy. We split the Namaste, and everything from the sauce to the cheese to the mushrooms was amazing. We'll definitely be back!

My husband and I enthusiastically recommend River House Pizza Co. for weddings or other events! They catered our wedding at the Howard County Conservancy two weeks ago and the pizza was the top compliment we heard from our guests! The food was fresh and delicious, the presentation was polished, and Nathan and Wendi were lovely to work with. We were pleasantly surprised with how seamlessly they accommodated our gluten-free guest (and she was really happy to get her own pizza!) If you're a person who eats pizza and normally tries to skip eating the crust when nobody is looking, this is one of the very few pizza shops in the Ellicott City area where you will end up eating the crust too because it's perfectly salted and seasoned. Great place for pizza.

First time trying River House Pizza co and I loved it! The crust is thin but not so thin that it's most crispy than doughy. I tried the Winter White (mozzarella, Parmesan, garlic cream sauce) and it was really good. Not too overpowering with the garlic either. They had a good variety of pizzas too and it was ready pretty quick. Even served in a box so any leftovers could go home with me. (All seating is outside.) Will definitely visit here again! More...
