Rich Jarvis Photography

When we hired Rich Jarvis to do our engagement photos, all we had to go off of were reviews from strangers. Here we are over a year later writing a glowing review of our own. Rich Jarvis was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. He has no nonsense pricing and he really worked with us to make sure that our needs fit our budget and not the other way around. It wouldn't be enough to say that Rich's photos are elegant and beautiful because that does not do him justice as a photographer. His passion for his art is evident. He is crystal clear when directing subjects in the photos and his work ethic is unbeatable. On our wedding day, he almost got hit by a car, suffered 90 degree heat for most of the day and fell into a fountain, all in the name of getting the perfect shot. Richard Jarvis will make you look better than you imagine, is respectful yet direct and as we found out firsthand will go to any length for the perfect photos. Rich is a creative photographer who really listens to what kind of images you are trying to achieve and he makes it happen! I'm so incredibly happy with the images he captured of my daughter and I on the beach in Half Moon Bay. He got a combination of the water, the sky and the sand in the shots and they are just precious!We really enjoyed our shoot with him because he's got this warm and personable personality and he's absolutely great with babies! I would highly recommend working with Rich Jarvis Photography. He took on-campus graduation photos for myself and 7 other of my friends. The images came out absolutely beautiful. Rich made our day amazing. My wife and I just married on August 5 in redwood city. We found him on wedding wire and from the first call and meeting, we knew he was going to be great.  We discussed what we wanted and Rich worked to meet our needs. He arrived early, helped us to stay organized with all the family photos. He did a wonderful job with getting those precious moments with our 8 month old daughter. I hired Rich to take photos of my son and his date for Junior Prom. I knew I wanted the moment to be captured and remembered forever and wanted to just enjoy watching them prepare for the prom. Rich did an amazing job!  He captured ALL the right moments - pictures we will forever cherish. I visited with the other parents while we watched them just enjoy each other with their friends. He got some very candid and fun shots along with some very staged shots and even took some pictures with parents and friends. This review is for an engagement session my fiancé and I had with our chosen wedding photographer Rich Jarvis. Rich was on time, professional, listened to our suggestions and had some great ideas of his own. He was easy to work with and fun to spend time with as we traveled to a few different sites.
