Rachel is an intuitive and educated instructor who uses a hands on approach to make real-time corrections to form and provides exercises to target underactive muscle groups. Rachel is a blast to work out with. She creates fun and interesting programs that always keep me guessing and continue to challenge me, both mentally and physically. She excels at teaching proper form and understanding functional movement. She never lets me get away with slacking, but she also makes me pump the brakes when my form starts to compromise. Rachel is so educated in designing specialized workouts that relate to each of her clients. She wrote modified workouts for me to help improve my overall strength while focusing on strengthening my weaker areas. I’ve had really bad knee pain for as long as I can remember and she helped activate my posterior chain which alleviated the pain and allowed me to move better, enjoy working out again and pick back up my hobbies of skiing and hiking. Rachel is so passionate about what she does. She has helped me gain the strength to feel proud of my body and work with it instead of against it. I've had body image issues all my life and she has made a huge impact on the way I think of my body. She's taught me that I have a higher threshold than I thought I had, which is incredibly empowering, especially as a woman. She always asks what you need and she makes sure you are always comfortable during your workout. She's so easy to talk to and so friendly. Improving lives! It's that simple. I have worked with a lot of clients on activating specific muscle groups so their entire kinetic chain can move more efficiently. It has allowed them to do the things they love better and without (or with much less) pain. I have also worked with elite athletes to get their game just a little bit stronger, whether I am using techniques like CNS training to enhance performance or even helping them with nutrition coaching. It is equally just as fulfilling working with someone who has never stepped foot in the gym before. I am so lucky I get to be a part of so many people's health and fitness journey and I cannot wait to see where this career continues to take me in the future! My clients inspire me just as much as I hope to inspire them!
