Fast check in, clean rooms, friendly staff, what else could you ask for? My 2 night stay was beyond expectations for any hotel. The restaurant and bar in the hotel were fantastic and also offered live music at night in the bar.Located near some new great attractions within walking distance like Top Golf and The Camp which offered coffee, food and a bar all in a cool outdoor patio. The Holiday Inn Research Park in Huntsville, AL - much like the US Space & Rocket Center right up the street - is out of this world! Great property in a prime location surrounded by MANY great restaurants! Hotel is currently under construction and they even gave me free breakfast passes cause of that and let me say this. ....I got one of the newly reconstructed rooms and it was AWESOME!! Bed, pictures, light fixtures have all been modernized and very couture. This isn’t your dads holiday inn! Staff also graciously gave me a late checkout out that was needed and appreciated. Anthony Brown checked me in. He was lovely and the facilities were clean and spacious. This hotel was recommended/ booked by Road Rooms. I was not disappointed! I've stayed at the Holiday Inn Research Park several times now, and I'm always happy with the site and the service. They just make it easy, and, when you've been on the road for hours, easy is what you want. Liberty handled check in quickly, but still with a sense of fun. My room was what I've come to expect from this facility: clean, current and comfortable. I had plenty of work space, and plenty of easy power sources for phone, tablet and laptop. One little detail that's really useful was a stainless steel, wire holder for the soap, in the shower. I almost feel silly mentioning it, but you see it, think about all the times bar soap either kept slipping out of those molded soap ledges, or, if they were deep enough to hold it in place, they filled up with water. Coming in late after my show, I had a friendly conversation with Sheleta, and she realized I'd be scrambling to get out by noon and volunteered a late checkout. Our client, traveling comedian Jordan Jackson, recently stayed here while on tour and performing near Huntsville. He was very impressed with the hospitality and couldn't wait to report back how much he loved the room! I had a wonderful experience at holiday inn research park staying over Thanksgiving weekend for a comedy show. The room was large and clean and the bed was incredibly comfortable! Even though there were renovations going on, I couldn’t hear any noise at all. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was great the next morning and the staff explained where it had been relocated very well. One hundred percent would recommend to anyone traveling through Huntsville. This place was perfect. This Holiday Inn was as warm and friendly as the staff that welcomed us. Everyone took their time to explain all the awesome things this hotel had to offer including the fitness room and their pools. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. There was some construction going on while I was there, but the hotel offered a an awesome, free breakfast to compensate. And, truth be told, I was not hampered by the construction in the slightest. We had a great experience at this Holiday Inn a little over a year ago and this stay was consistently awesome. The Holiday Inn brand represents a standard of quality we are used to, but this particular property is all that and then some and I definitely see why it stays so busy. The location has both an indoor and outdoor pool, 24 hour workout room, coin laundry and all the stuff you expect but there’s two stand out things innate to this location. First of all, they’ve got a delicious award-winning restaurant that is very reasonably priced; best hotel restaurant I’ve ever eaten at. Also the outside shrubbery and landscaping is beautiful and award-winning! Additionally, there’s a cool little bar/club in the lower level as well that is always a blast with featured entertainment. Not to mention your within walking distance to literally every kind of shopping imaginable. Best pillows and beds too. Stay here - I guarantee you’ll enjoy the lighthearted and fun atmosphere. Had a great stay at this hotel. The staff were super friendly, and my room was really nice. They're right next to the Top Golf which is really great, and they had a pool with floaties and beach balls you could use which is nice cause I typically don't travel with mine. I had a little trouble finding the property after my comedy gig. When I arrived there was a huge reunion and loud music and commotion. The front desk could not find my reservation and was sold out. Then the desk clerk became my saving grace. She found a reservation that would cancel and have me a room after also finding that my reservation was mistakenly held for the next night not the night I was there. She worked wonders and I made my way to a clean comfy room only to find the TV had fried out. The same lady worked me Into a room above the first with al the amenities working.the room was ice cold like I like it and can and comfy. Turns out it's a great property and so convenient to my gig. Thank you holiday inn Huntsville for everything I will be back.I RETURNED FOR A 2ND VISIT THIS PAST WEEKEND UT WAS A GREAT STAY AGAIN. RENOVATIONS ARE UNDER WAY.
