There comes a time when many small to medium businesses reach a point where they need professional financial management and/or advisement. Large businesses and entities need team members to help them with special projects or temporary staffing needs. Full-time chief financial officers and/or controllers cost as much as $60,000 to $100,000 plus bonuses and benefits to acquire, and even more for the most experienced high end senior financial managers. Part-time regular or occasional financial services help may provide a viable solution for small to medium businesses (SMBs) and large businesses on limited budgets.

I enjoy working with businesses and owners and helping them succeed with financial tools and information. I like teaching and learning about client businesses and entities.

I worked temporary jobs and contract jobs during multiple down-turns in the economy, being exposed to many industries and environments. It made sense to keep working between jobs, get experience, and pay my bills. I operated as a sole proprietorship from 1987 - 2009, ran Business Consulting & Taxation, Inc. from 2009 - 2019, and then created the current Remote Business Solutions, Inc. in 2018 to present to assist commercial clients and owners with accounting services. I worked both at my own offices and at client sites for special projects and needs. The flexibility to work around childcare and eldercare needs and the ability to seek out work of interest evolved.

My Business

At Remote Business Solutions, Inc. my objective is to provide customized online accounting services with optional add-ons such as full-service payroll, receivables, fixed asset management, and tax compliance. I offer 30+ years of financial business experience and 23+ years of teaching/training experience with adults. I specialize in small-sized to medium-sized businesses, corporations, other entities, and professional individuals. I provide secure file exchange, online accounting and payroll, and remote tax preparation so that client company owners do not need to leave their offices to get operational help with their financial management.

My virtual accounting office is now 100% online and remote. I offer high level professional services at moderate prices because we value your business. I hire additional contractor accountants when client projects require more workers. The corporate center provides remote virtual services, so clients receive ebilling, secure file exchange, and a mailing/shipping center with a manager and other employees when non-electronic deliveries are needed.

My Service Options

My service packages offer up to four hours of tax consulting with each tax preparation contract a year. So outside of the preview and review of your tax return, you may obtain a mid-year check up of your tax status without additional charge if not used up at preparation time. Other services may be added to client service contracts as desired by clients, which reduces your overall annual costs, and includes discounts by paying an annual retainer with each year's services contract.
Most management contracts include monthly accounting, financials, payroll, employment tax returns, and entity and personal income tax returns. Projects may be contracted on an hourly or monthly basis.

My part-time contract financial services provide you with experienced support at $20,000 to $35,000 a year depending on the size and needs of your business or entity. Alternatively, you may pay $60 to $90 per hour for regular or occasional financial management services, with some services such as taxpayer representation costing more per hour. I or a selected associate could be provided to meet your customized needs. You may contract for a project (40 hours or more, with annual availability between May and December) at hourly rates between $28.85 to $48.08 per hour depending on the nature of work and negotiable details.

Yes we are a 100% REMOTE ACCOUNTING AND TAX ANALYST FIRM FOR COMMERCIAL CLIENTS.

Generally full-service commercial clients utilize monthly accounting, full-service payroll / contractors payment management, and tax preparation services, but we can add and create any combination that works for you. Our workers consist of employees, vendors, and contractors, all of whom work remotely, to bring your business the integrated accounting and financial services needed to run your business. Jeanine coordinates all of the client services and normally handles all communications between the workers in our network.

Jeanine sets up and manages online accounting with client bank accounts integrated into the client online software system. She customizes the client's chart of accounts (index to accounting system) to meet the unique reporting needs of your company. Jeanine can further be engaged to manage monthly client accounting which includes coding each downloaded transaction to the appropriate financial statement accounts, and two monthly telephone or teleconference meetings to review client bank reconciliations and financial reports.

Jeanine offers client companies the options of full-service payroll, contractor payments management, accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed asset management, and tax compliance in any combination needed. There are discounts available for company clients who utilize two or more services.

The business owners and managers never need to leave their work to obtain the accounting and financial services required for their companies. We are your remote accounting service with me, Jeanine, as your personal accountant and manager of the workers in the different functions provided to you.

I completed the transition of my virtual accounting practice from a 95% remote service to a 100% service to protect everyone from unnecessary risks of exposure to an unpredictable pandemic. My idea for a virtual business platform was conceived of in 2018, but the Covid-19 pandemic provided the urgent need for companies and owners to accept the contactless option of doing business. I obtained the technology of basic online, remote, and virtual tools to support commercial clients and their owners and managers with in lieu of the old business model of physical meetings away from client business locations. Although I am a small business with a limited budget, I believe that my well thought out virtual business model provides the basic accounting and financial services needed for most small to medium businesses on a conservative fixed budget. I can still help larger businesses with project services annually between May and December, and with any part-time accounting, payroll, and/or tax compliance services that would assist them directly or their clients.

I practice and encourage wise health protocols such as social distancing and wearing masks that cover nose and mouth whenever I must meet others face-to-face. We all wash our hands the recommended 20 seconds each time, and do this multiple times a day from whatever location each of us is working from.

Our appointments are 100% remote and may be scheduled on our Appointments Link, on the Appointments page of our website, or via FaceBook. All clients receive a private cloud folder with access to our secure file exchange. In the slim event we need to hand-deliver or hand-receive paper documents, we meet at our near our corporate building wearing masks and gloves, and maintaining social distancing.
