Just over a year and a half ago I started searching for ways to combat my sciatic issues that stem from a herniated disk in my lower back and my mom mentioned kettlebell training. With a little bit of searching, I landed in the best spot possible, Remedy. The coaches, Robert, Erin, and Jose are amazing and knowledgeable. They learn about you, your needs, and your goals and form plan to succeed. Prior to training with Remedy, I was taking 800 mg of Ibuprofen every 6 hours. 1 session (seriously after only 1 session) with Robert there at remedy, I could feel the difference in my back. It was no longer uncomfortable to sit in the chair, or bend down, or stand.
One thing I noticed is they don't serve up cookie cutter workouts, they identify your problems and create a routine based on your limitations or areas that you need REMEDIED.

They have the added benifit of being smaller than a commercial gym, with the extra benefit of being locally owned, and owner operated. How do you help your clients achieve their fitness goals?
By teaching them how it works so they have the knowledge forever (as opposed to the "do as I say" approach). We break it down into simple, easy to understand steps so that fitness becomes a part of who you are instead of something you're constantly struggling to achieve.
What’s the secret to getting the body of your dreams?
Consistency! Diets do not work because they are temporary and so are the results. We can teach you how to eat the foods you love and still love your body!
What do you love most about your job?
I love helping people do things they never imagined they could! The light in their eyes when they do something someone told them they couldn't do is the most amazing feeling as a coach. The confidence that brings absolutely changes your life!
What inspired you to start your own business?
I didn't like what I was seeing at other gyms and how they were treating people (like numbers, like paychecks, like they couldn't wait until your appointment was over). I want everyone who trains at Remedy Kettlebell Club to feel like they found their extended family. I want them to leave each session feeling better and stronger than last time. We all lift each other up and make each other stronger; I want them to feel like super heroes!

We are family-owned and operated and the difference shows. Our passion, care and attention goes into everything we do.

Absolutely! We have regular Zoom classes for those that are unable to attend classes at the club and we also offer remote/online personal training. We even have a kettlebell rental service for members so they can train at home.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
As former MMA, BJJ and wrestling coaches, we have always stressed hygiene inside the gym. The equipment is sanitized after every session and the entire gym is sanitized regularly. We keep our groups very small so there is plenty of room and we have plenty of equipment so no one needs to share.
Small group personal training
We have a regular schedule of various classes designed to help keep you motivated, challenged and engaged in reaching and exceeding your goals. Members check in beforehand the workouts are designed based on those attending (small group personal training). Groups are usually between 2-5 people with plenty of equipment. We find that these groups have the best results as the community helps everyone get better.
Personal Training
One-on-one training is also available for those that prefer to train alone. Pre-paid packages are available for discounted rates. We tailor to session to your goals and needs.
Nutrition
We can help design a meal plan and menu based on your goals so you can eat the foods you love without "dieting" (restricting foods, losing weight, then gaining it all back + some when you bounce back). Diets DO NOT WORK. We have an educational approach so you learn how to read labels, how to prep meals, how to track macros and how they affect your metabolism. You'll be a nutrition pro in no time!
Pre-hab, Re-hab, correcting life's imbalances
Kettlebell training is incredibly effective at correcting muscle imbalances, improving balance, agility, correcting those nagging injuries that never seem to improve, improving core strength and stability and preventing future injuries. The human body is the only machine that wears out faster if not used!
