I recently moved into a new place with a roommate. Unbeknownst to me, he decided to adopt a young pit bull from the local animal shelter one week prior to my move in.
Unfortunately, he is one of the scariest types of dog owners: he has NO knowledge or experience in how to work with a pit; but he thinks he knows everything there is to know, and isn't open to learning anything else. After living there only one week and feeling comfortable with the dog, (although I didn't know the best way to behave around him); I was standing quite a ways away from him and he very calmly walked over to me, and suddenly jumped up, barked and bit my left forearm right above my elbow!! He immediately got down, put his head down. The owner just put him outside and told me it was because I had something shiny in my right hand (a box cutter that I picked up every once in a while). It broke the skin partially and scared the hell out of me!! I was so shocked and shaken by it, that I cried. The owner claimed that he would do something about it after he returned from a 2 week deployment!! I was terrified, and felt like a prisoner in my own home! I reported it to animal control, but they said they couldn't do anything but keep a record of it; and asked the owners to "quarantine him" for 10 days. One day, when the owner and his timid girlfriend were gone, the dog broke out of his kennel, and out of the bedroom he was in. This was early in the day, before I had woken. I awoke to the dog sniffing under my bedroom door! I couldn't get out of my room, and didn't know what I could do. I was angry and terrified! The owners wouldn't do anything. I called Jasmine, and she dropped everything to come help. Moments later, he arrived with a muzzle.
Immediately she assessed and knew the personality and mannerisms of this pit bull. She calmed him very assertively and explained the thinking/psychology behind the dog's behaviors --what his movements and actions meant. She worked with me a lot on how to calm myself and let go of my own fear, as that will cause a situation with the dog to escalate. She was amazing at getting me to know my own body language, and was very patient with me. She took the dog for a walk with me, all along explaining calmly and assertively how to change to dogs attention, redirect, how my body language needed to be, where and how I needed to stand and walk, hold the leash, and so much more. It sounds like a lot I know, but she honestly made it so easy for both me and the dog. She had me practice with the dog as well, and helped us both build a different relationship. She told me what behaviors/ways of communicating with the dog I needed to avoid and why. She only worked with us a short time, but it completely turned the situation around!! I was SO blown away and impressed with her expertise and natural abilities- definetely a dog whisperer!! Although the owner was all talk, and decided NOT to do any further training at all with his dog; she left me with enough knowledge to know how to keep myself safe. I am no longer a prisoner! She did several follow up calls, and provided me with reading material to assure I was going to continue to be safe. SUCH A RELIEF and a feeling of freedom and control!! I would recommend Jasmine to anyone needing any type of behavior trained out of (or into) their dog. She is very passionate about her work- it's easy to tell she loves it--She's such a natural!! Cannot thank you enough Jasmine!!

Jasmine is really knowledgeable and confident and the dogs know it. She got my chihuahua to stop running to the door and barking when visitors come (which he has done for years) in just a few minutes.

We have been to 4 different trainers and no one compares to Jasmine. She has been amazing with my dogs and also with helping me understand why and what she is doing with them. She is very knowledgeable and seems to always be learning more. If she doesn't have an answer she will go find it. When you sign up for her training she will be dedicated to you and your dog. I will always trust Jasmine with dogs! My dogs have problems with leash walking, reactivity towards people, dogs and objects. And we have worked through alot of these issues. One thing I really like about Jasmine is that if she has suggested a certain tool or approach she isn't afraid to change it up if it isn't working. I've learned that every dog is different in how they learn, just like humans, and we need to be adaptable and sensitive to that. Thank you Jasmine for being amazing with my fur babies. I always thought I have been pretty good with my dogs and training them. But about a year ago, I brought a new addition to my family, a pit bull that came home to me at just over five weeks old. Although we had a special bond, as she got older I knew there was something missing. Kaiya was very shy, and scared of everything, but at the same time almost aggressive. I reached out to Jasmine with Redemption Dog Training and the progress we have had has been amazing! Jasmines knowledge of dog behavior and corrections have made such a difference in my relationship with Kaiya! Her anxiety has gone down, and I am more than happy with all she has done for my fur baby family!!! She has truly helped me and my pup grow a stronger bond, and without that I don't know we're it would've been now. Jasmine has been working with our 2 pitbulls and my boyfriend and I for a few months now. I cannot thank her enough for helping us improve our relationships with our dogs!
Marley is almost 2 and we adopted her a few weeks before we asked for Jasmines help. Marley was suffering from severe anxiety and was constantly peeing in the house each time she would get scared or overwhelmed. She also was very codependent on our other dog Maleah and even jumped from our 3rd story balcony because Maleah was down below! After this incident I knew it was time to ask for help. Jasmine is so patient and kind and really connects with the animals to find out the underlying reasons for their behavior. She has taught me so much about my dogs in such a short amount of time. The biggest thing for me was gaining a deeper connection with my dogs so that I can see their needs and implement the training Jasmine has taught me. I have learned to trust Marley and been able to allow her to grow rather than always waiting for her to react, pee, bark, react ect. This has been so big for our family and has allowed us to provide proper structure and care for our shelter pup to where we can deal with and help her correct her behaviors. I honestly don't know what we would have had to do without Jasmines help! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

I highly recommend Jasmine! After we adopted our dog, Jackson, a young chihuahua who loves to snuggle, we quickly learned that Jackson struggled with severe separation anxiety.
He was very stressed in his crate, whining incessantly while we were gone, and even escaped and terrorized the house a few times. I called Jasmine one day in a panic when I came home to a destroyed kitchen. And I'm so glad I did!
What I love about Jasmine's training the most is that it focuses on getting to the root of the dog's behavior, not just patching it up with treats and basic commands. Jasmine helped me identify my dog's needs and helped me build a stronger, better relationship with him. Now Jackson, has learned how to calm himself down and respect me as his owner. We are both much happier! I was surprised that we were able to accomplish so much in just a few weeks of meeting! She invested so much time and care into us and our dog, yet her training was so affordable!
If you are looking for a dog trainer that will make your and your dog's life much better, you should call Jasmine! She went above and beyond expectations.

I have been working with Jasmine for a little over a month now and I cannot thank her enough. Paisley has had quite a rough past and the last two years for her have been rocky with so many changes in her environment. She suffers from severe anxiety, fear aggression, leash reactivity, and is just very nervous with unfamiliar surroundings. After our first session with Jasmine, I immediately noticed a turn around with her. We have a much better connection and understanding of each other. She is getting her life and freedom back and a normal playful pup that shes always been but can now enjoy being outside without being so fearful of everything/everyone around her. She still has a long ways to go but in this short time, I have a completely different dog. I am forever grateful for Jasmines help. I would recommend her to anyone! More...
