Red Lobster

You usually can't go wrong with Red Lobster. I ordered snow crab and potato soup. The crab was pretty good as usual but I had to send the potato soup back because it was too thick. Overall my family had a nice time.

Whoo-hoo for endless shrimp!! My roommate and I are huge seafoodies, so we had to slide in for this amazing deal. The endless shrimp deal is coming to an end, so hurry in if you want to experience a 15. 99 shrimp buffet!We wanted to get the whole experience, so we ordered every kind of shrimp they offered. We started with the garlic shrimp scampi, shrimp linguine alfredo, crispy siracha-honey shrimp, and teriyaki grilled shrimp. Our favorite was the garlic shrimp scampi. So much butter and so much garlic! The shrimp linguine alfredo was also a great palette-resetter. The pasta was great to munch on in between shrimp plates. The teriyaki was also pretty good, but we felt like they'd overdone it on the sauce.Since we really enjoyed the shrimp scampi, we ordered another two rounds. We also got a grilled shrimp kebob without the teriyaki sauce, which we liked a lot better. The last shrimp dish we got was the hand-breaded shrimp, which was the least impressive by far. The breading was extremely dry and there was no sauce to dip it in. It actually tasted a lot better as leftovers because the breading had gotten soggy by then, lending it a little bit of moisture.Overall, the endless shrimp experience was successful! They have endless shrimps for 15.99 per person till mid NovemberSo endless shrimps means basically several different dishes with shrimp it can be BBQ ,fried or broiled with different sides For the starter you should order up to 3 dishes per time . I definitely recommend their garlic shrimp scampi its so delicious also their Grilled teriyaki shrimp is ok and their Alfredo linguini shrimp with creamy sauce.Nothing going wrong with their service or dishes except the shrimp quality is really low and feels like really old shrimps they are using . Taste like they had or bought so much close to expired shrimps very cheap so they can serve customers during low season. Nothing wrong with it but don't expect high end quality shrimps in here.Other than that its very beautiful interior design Red Lobster very clean inside and have tablet next to you to pay your check and play games (Not free)I'm writing this for the people who never visited Red Lobster before.If you have never visited this place specially this location in high end neighborhood is a must visit honestly . So I only come here for one thing. Endless shrimp. Say what you want. I love shrimp and it's a good deal so I'm gonna be here grub on out. I will say that this location never, and I mean never has any of the "secret menu" shrimp items. It's honestly disappointing. Not sure if it's a Jacksonville thing or not. When I go to the location in Gainesville they always have the "secret menu" offerings. I should know by now but I keep on doing it, so that must make me insane right? Either way I wish this location would step up their game. Did I mention the floors at the bar were extremely sticky. I might be very nit picky right now because of the secret menu gaff but et well it is what it is. I will say they have new presto table checkout mini kiosk things. Not sure what to call them. It's convenient but if you want a receipt hold on to your hat because it won't print out at the table. It has a main printer so you still have to wait on that.Ugh sooo I jumped the gun on my review. After one reorder the waiter brought out the Nashville shrimp. Honestly not much of a taste difference between that and the honey sriracha. But both great. Let me just start by saying JARROD has been the bestest waiter I have ever had! And trust me I go out to eat a lot! I haven't wrote a review in so long because I have been so busy. BUT I just had to make some time to compliment this restaurant! I have been to a couple other Red Lobsters, but none have been like this one. Since I arrived there weren't much people waiting. The lady at the front got our name and said it would be 5 to 10 minutes. It was literally like 5 minutes!That has been the fastest I have ever been seated at a Red Lobster. The lady was very nice, gave us the menu and said our server would be with us shortly. The waiter, Jarrod, was helping the table next to us with their crab, but he let us know he would help them as fast as he can and would be with us right away.When he was done helping them he asked for our order. Since we waited for about 10 min we already knew what we wanted to drink, what we wanted as an appetizer and our main dish. He asked if we wanted to order everything at once and we said yes. I have tried to order my food when they ask for the drink order but usually they always say that they will put in the drink order and be right back. Not with Jarrod! He let us order everything and the drinks came right away! We ordered the Alotta Colada and they were so big and delicious!!! The food came like 10 minutes later which is the fastest I have ever received my food in a Red Lobster.Like half an hour later while we were eating Jerrod let us know that he was going on break. And since we ordered the unlimited shrimp he went ahead and put in three orders for us so we won't wait for him to get back from break. That was really nice of him. He also said if we needed anything there was another server that was going to take over while he was on break.He came back when he still had seven minutes left on his break and he let us know that he still had seven minutes but if we needed anything else. We were still fine with the order he put in so we let him know. When he came back we did put in one more order. Marvin provides excellent service!I am a 8 months pregnant woman who is craving for shrimp, so my husband brought me here for endless shrimp. Since I'm pregnant, I'm quite picky on food, I kinda felt bad that I kept asking for hot water or extra bowls. But Marvin was super patient and served us with smiles, he also made sure to provide refills before we even asked.I noticed he went to help the bar area whenever he has time, he is non stop working.Overall this is a great experience, food is good, definitely worth the money, we will come back! I came in for the endless shrimp deal at $15.99. The shrimp was decent and the service was great. I tried nearly all of the shrimp on the menu. The shrimp linguine and shrimp scampi were good. I also had fried shrimp and grilled teriyaki shrimp which were also good as well. My waiter, Marvin, was very attentive and provided  excellent service. We have red lobster gift card to use so we went on a Sunday in September to go there for dinner. I made the reservation online for dinner while hubby was driving. We finally arrived there and wAited few minutes at the bar before our table was ready. There was lots of people waiting at 6:15pm. Our waitress was nice and took our drinks. We didn't order any appetizers instead focused on eating their cheddar biscuits. The kitchen was kinda slow on biscuits. I should have ordered the clam chowder soup instead I ordered broiled fish to be healthy and Cesar salad. The only good thing was cheddar biscuits and bake potato. It was ok they took a while taking our orders and when ask for more biscuits they took longer to bring them out and I had other the endless shrimp they never ask if I wanted more I had to tell them I wanted another plate of shrimps.  The reason I gave it a four star is because the wait on the waiter to come and get our order took for ever.  I love the food but i think is the last time I'll be in that red Lobster restaurant I hate waiting More...

Wow! I had an amazing experience here at the Monrovia location today. I spoke with Yesenia over the phone, I had a lot of silly question before I decided to dine in today. She has such a friendly demeanor and Answered all of my questions in a courteous manner, took down my name for a last-minute reservation which I really appreciated. We came in and of course she greeted us, and I was able to thank her for being so polite over the phone. We sat down and Janet came over to take our order. Today, we came in for the endless shrimp which was $15.99 per person and came with five different shrimp options as well as a side and salad. One thing I really loved about our waitress, I never had to ask for a refill! I am somebody who drinks a lot LOL and she just kept the Shirley Temple's comin! everything was fresh, made to order. the shrimp was not rubbery and was cooked perfectly. We definitely had our fill. I would say if you want to come in and not have to worry about an extremely packed house or long Waits, between 4pm-pm is the ideal time to come. Visited August 6. Upon entering we were greeted immediately. Shortly after, our group of 6 was seated. I haven't been to Red Lobster for as long as I can remember. Before I go on, let me just say that I am a sucker for Shrimp Fettuccini. So you already know what I ordered. For our appetizer, we ordered the Lobster Artichoke dip. A bit salty for my taste and the chips were stale. About my Shrimp Fettuccini! Holy moly!!!!! It was soooooo good. Noodles were cooked just how I like them. Al dente. Not to mention the amount of shrimp they give you. I literally had a shrimp with every bite. I also ordered a Piña Colada. But it wasn't your typical Piña. It comes with a shot of Captain. And I upgraded to the ginormous size. Omg!!!!!! I was  stuffed and feeling good after my drink. I was ready for bed.Overall, it was a great experience. Will definitely be back. One last thing. I had a GREAT DEAL of trouble trying to order a delivery from the Monrovia restaurant on Huntington Dr through Grubhub  and then Door Dash. After an hour of run around, I was frustrated and furious. So, I called the restaurant directly to complain and find out if there was some other remedy that didn't require me to trek all the way over there. It would have meant an hour round trip!!!Talk about TOP NOTCH customer service!!!Erin, the person in charge at that time, actually personally drove my order to my home.Talk about above and beyond...I've eaten in restaurants all over the country, the world, and more than adozen cruise ships. I came in today with my parents for the first time and we were greeted with great service from Kenya (If that is how her name is spelled) The food was great, especially the biscuits, I ordered myself an appetizer with chicken strips and mozzarella cheese sticks and I have to say they tasted great. The chicken had a nice crisp and was juicy, the mozzarella sticks were great aswell since I myself love cheese. And for desert we ordered a Brownie Overboard and it was phenomenal. My family and I love seafood! So when we do you treat ourselves, we are not afraid to splurge out on something that is amazingly delicious. Red lobster just hit that exact spot for us. I remembered that it was a chilly Friday night, and my sister had just gotten a perfect 100% on her test. We had to find a good celebration place for her; somewhere that had both amazing food and service. Red lobster was the perfect place for this description. Right as we entered through that swinging door we were greeted with a smiling face of a super nice employee. We were shown to a table where we took a took at the glorious menu with so many different varieties of food and many different types of seafood that were all priced pretty averagely. The prices were fairly well for the amount of how much food that they were offering. I decided to get some shrimp skewers which I then shared with my sister. The shrimp skewers were perfect, with the perfect small little bit of char on it and also that nice seasoning that it had. The seasoning was right on point with the perfect with the amazing lemony zest and also that fresh garden type of taste that it possessed. The cheddar Bay biscuits were absolutely amazing and were a hit for the entire table. After a meal it was also my birthday coincidentally. So the waiter brought out this scrumptious ice cream sundae and placed it right in front of me. Entire staff saying happy birthday and the second that that brownie and ice cream goodness touched my mouth I knew that that tasted like heaven. Not only with ice cream perfectly creamy,the brownie had a smooth and soft taste inside my mouth. The brownie with the ice cream was one of the best food combinations I've ever had. Needless to say our dinner was quite a success. Red lobster would be a place that I would recommend to absolutely anyone visiting the Arcadia area, or to anyone that is just craving some really good seafood. I am looking forward to my next visit already and I cannot wait to explore the menu some more. I hope that you give red lobster a try because I promise you it will be as good as I had it. More...
