My boyfriend and I came and got the $17.99 4-course feast. It was $14.99 because we came during happy hour and it was the best deal! We each got soup, salad, pasta, and dessert. We also tried the seafood stuffed mushrooms which were really good. All of the food was delicious and our waitress Maria gave us the BEST service. Came here again, excellent waitress. Everything we ordered was delicious. We had mussels and sauce was so good with garlic toast, then salad which was not good but no need to remove star but it was a bit wilted and neither of us enjoyed it, I got Walt's coconut shrimp and loaded potato loved that pina colada sauce yum, son had mashed potatoes and baked potato the little carbs lol, he had snow crab and it was fresh, we both loved our desserts. Okay, I'm just as surprised that I'm giving a Red Lobster 5 stars, but bear with me.... Colby the waiter is a NATIONAL TREASURE. His treatment that day was 10x better than anything I've experienced at Commander's, and that's why this review is 5 stars.I had seen their ad on tv for endless shrimp, I haven't been to a Red Lobster in AGES, and I was curious so we stopped. We were seated immediately, and our waiter Colby was promptly with us. He got us drinks quickly (NEVER LET THEM GET EMPTY, seriously, a cm above half full and he was refilling them), and then he walked us through the menu... He knew it backwards and forwards and was able to make excellent recommendations for the appetizer (we went with lobster spinach and artichoke dip). It wasn't bad, but definitely chain restaurant food. We both ordered the endless shrimp, and made sure to each pick different shrimp so we could share... And that's where Colby blew us away again. Before we had finished our first batch, or even requested more shrimp, Colby showed up... With the other shrimp styles we hadn't tried yet! He made sure we got to sample some of each style, and when it came time to leave, he even put our drinks in to-go cups without us having to ask... I'm seriously so impressed. Thank you for such a great dining experience, & if a manager reads this, he needs a raise!The food was good, again, you could tell it was chain, but everything was warm and flavorful, and super rich. The cheddar bay biscuits are endless and wonderful, and their side Caesar salad was actually large and delicious. Again, it's a chain, and we have plenty of seafood restaurants in the area, but you can't beat all you can eat shrimp with as many styles as they have for the price they have. Not having explored too many options when it comes to seafood around Reno, I seem to jump back into Red Lobster, mainly because of this scrumptious soup! !  When I have a serious craving for seafood, this soup from the seafood gods always seems to fit the bill!  My hubs isn't a huge fan of seafood, so we need to compromise when it comes to surf and turf.  I don't love venturing into smoky casinos to get a meal anymore - it's not worth the worry of wondering where my food came from and what kind of oil are they using to prepare my food anymore!  Atmosphere here in this Reno location is always dimmed and the staff is always friendly.  Bathrooms are usually a big to me, but I didn't check this one, LOL.I also ordered a "Create a Combo" of the new lobster pieces and a broiled whitefish, which was also EXCELLENT, but didn't take a picture.  I believe the waiter brought us THREE baskets of their secretly-addicting cheddar biscuits, which by the way, need NO BUTTER (WHAT?) and I was stuffed with all that good food!  I did have a side of the lobster mashed potatoes, but that cheese sauce they finish on top with reminds me of Velveeta and I scooped it to the side.  I had quite a bit of left-overs and they were really truly super-GOOD the next day...all the flavors soaked together.This soup though...it's an up-charge of $5 as a soup with your entree - expensive, yes...but worth it?  OH YES!  Every bite-full has chunks of lobster and the taste is every ounce of savory that you NEED with seafood.  Now that I'm talking about it, I may need to grab another bowl sooner than later! I had never been to red lobster until tonight and I honestly thought it was just going to be an okay-ish meal but the food was pretty good! We started the night (my boyfriend and his parents) with the seafood stuffed mushrooms and some coconut shrimp, which were to-die-for, especially dipped in red lobsters piña colada sauce (the shrimp that is). I got the seafarers feast which was butterfly shrimp, shrimp scampi, grilled lobster and grilled scallops and to top it off mashed potatoes and a Caesar salad (I didn't even come close to finishing all this ). My eyes have always been bigger than my stomach! The food was pretty good and I'd recommend this location to anyone but the thing that really sold me about this location was an employee who worked here. His name is Deanthony and I cannot express how much interacting with him made my, and my boyfriends family's night. Deanthony was the most sweet and genuine person. He wasn't even our server but went out of his way to converse with us and fill our evening with some heart felt dialog. I LOVE THIS RED LOBSTER!! We came for our anniversary on a Saturday night and our experience was absolutely fantastic! PAULA was so attentive, energetic, and friendly! She made our anniversary dinner great while still dealing with so many other tables, and the kitchen being jammed on a Saturday night! She was so fantastic I don't think I've ever had a server as good as Paula!!! Also, the food was delicious! The Lobster was huge and the crab was amazing and sweet. The steak was cooked perfectly medium! It was also delicious and didn't require any sauce since it was perfectly seasoned. The sides were great portions and everything came out delicious. I also wanted to say that the restaurant as a whole is what made the experience great! While having delicious food and great service is awesome, it's also great to have the people bringing you food ask if you needed anything else and refill our drinks! Thank you!The manager came by and asked how we were twice on a very busy night and the hostess was sweet and changed our table when I asked. As a customer of Red Lobster for over 40 years, I have a good understanding of the restaurant and the history of the chain.  Having visited all the sites in the OKC market, Tulsa market, and most in a vicinity of 150 miles from the metro of Central Oklahoma, this is the first review I have written on the Lobster. This early evening, eating with a friend, I was greeted by the hostess, a lady that has done so on many occasions at this location. She has worked for RL for over 40 years, with most at the Memorial Road store.  Usually, as of my wife's illness, I will get my order to go, but tonight, I ate in with my friend.  I did take a meal (Parrott Fried Shrimp) home to my better half, her favorite shrimp dinner.We were greeted and I had asked for a table which was immediately provided.  After less than ten seconds our waitress was asking us what we would like to drink, which we ordered, as we began to choose our selections for the night that were on the menu that was provided by the hostess as we were seated.I will note that the inside of the restaurant was very nice, clean, and provided a pleasant place to spend our time and money.  The orders were taken as I chose the a platter than I have enjoyed before, which consisted of shrimp linguini, shrimp scampi, and fried shrimp, Walt's by name.  Add a baked potato and a special garden salad (romaine, sprinkle cheese, and croutons) with 1000 Island dressing.  My friend ordered the 7 oz. sirloin steak, medium well, with broccoli, baked potato, and the garden salad with honey mustard dressing.Our drinks were provided immediately as my favorite COKE that I order when eating out was just perfect as usual and my friends iced tea, unsweet, was also great.The famous cheddar biscuits followed shortly and were hot and delicious, not overly greasy.  They could not have been better.  The waitress was prompt with the Tabasco as I always use when eating those biscuits.   Our salads were fresh and prepared as we ordered them. I do not like the "spring mix" that the Lobsters now serves (most people love it) so my order was just as ordered (above) and was my friends with the "spring mix." Dinner entree's were served and were just as ordered with the food temperature correct.  Now for all those seafood lovers that do not like the Lobster for not serving the total freshest food from the sea the top upscale places DO serve, I get it.  But I prefer the Lobster version of their shrimp, their sauces. their spice sets.  Not that I cannot be a SNOB, but for what I get at the Lobster for the price value, I am more than good.  My shrimp in its three forms was tasty and flavorful.  The baked potato was rather large, and also very good.  The small steak that was served to my friend was cooked correctly and his words were all positive, saying the meat was just what he was wanting.  The Lobster, in my opinion, does serve good steaks and chicken which they do not get enough credit for.  All in all, a five for me and for my friend.
