As a customer of Red Lobster for over 40 years, I have a good understanding of the restaurant and the history of the chain.  Having visited all the sites in the OKC market, Tulsa market, and most in a vicinity of 150 miles from the metro of Central Oklahoma, this is the first review I have written on the Lobster. This early evening, eating with a friend, I was greeted by the hostess, a lady that has done so on many occasions at this location. She has worked for RL for over 40 years, with most at the Memorial Road store.  Usually, as of my wife's illness, I will get my order to go, but tonight, I ate in with my friend.  I did take a meal (Parrott Fried Shrimp) home to my better half, her favorite shrimp dinner.We were greeted and I had asked for a table which was immediately provided.  After less than ten seconds our waitress was asking us what we would like to drink, which we ordered, as we began to choose our selections for the night that were on the menu that was provided by the hostess as we were seated.I will note that the inside of the restaurant was very nice, clean, and provided a pleasant place to spend our time and money.  The orders were taken as I chose the a platter than I have enjoyed before, which consisted of shrimp linguini, shrimp scampi, and fried shrimp, Walt's by name.  Add a baked potato and a special garden salad (romaine, sprinkle cheese, and croutons) with 1000 Island dressing.  My friend ordered the 7 oz. sirloin steak, medium well, with broccoli, baked potato, and the garden salad with honey mustard dressing.Our drinks were provided immediately as my favorite COKE that I order when eating out was just perfect as usual and my friends iced tea, unsweet, was also great.The famous cheddar biscuits followed shortly and were hot and delicious, not overly greasy.  They could not have been better.  The waitress was prompt with the Tabasco as I always use when eating those biscuits.   Our salads were fresh and prepared as we ordered them. I do not like the "spring mix" that the Lobsters now serves (most people love it) so my order was just as ordered (above) and was my friends with the "spring mix." Dinner entree's were served and were just as ordered with the food temperature correct.  Now for all those seafood lovers that do not like the Lobster for not serving the total freshest food from the sea the top upscale places DO serve, I get it.  But I prefer the Lobster version of their shrimp, their sauces. their spice sets.  Not that I cannot be a SNOB, but for what I get at the Lobster for the price value, I am more than good.  My shrimp in its three forms was tasty and flavorful.  The baked potato was rather large, and also very good.  The small steak that was served to my friend was cooked correctly and his words were all positive, saying the meat was just what he was wanting.  The Lobster, in my opinion, does serve good steaks and chicken which they do not get enough credit for.  All in all, a five for me and for my friend. Had a 5:30 reservation right before seeing an 8:00 show on a busy Saturday night. The restaurant was getting busy at arrival but the hostess and wait staff were highly organized and got seated quickly. Service was lovely, efficient and timely but never rushed. What an amazing dinner tonight! I brought a party of 12 to celebrate my son's 16th birthday here tonight. My son absolutely loves crab legs, but unfortunately only gets them 1-2 times a year. Well, tonight is that night! Pretty sure we had the best server in the store. Tyler took amazing care of us, and the crew even came out to sing and embarrass my son...exactly what a dad can hope for. Lol. The jumbo coconut shrimp was great! The crab legs did not disappoint. Nice lunch with bosses! This was our Thanksgiving gathering. We had a great time together ! Not very crowded! Great service, fresh hot food, custom service was great! The waitress was extremely attentive to our needs. We had great appetizers Coconut Shrimp everyone favorite! Great lunch specials good conversation and the restaurant was very clean. The manager was extremely nice we didn't have to wait for a table! Hats off to the staff who waited on us! I'm sure we will definitely return to this location! My wife & I had to do a google search to find a Red Lobster in the area we were visiting this past August. After a very disappointing visit to a white cloth fine dining seafood restaurant that claimed to have surf & turf, That fine dining seafood restaurant didn't even have lobster on their menu!!! We were treated awesome at this Red Lobster, The food was fantastic, Our waitress was beyond awesome, The GM was there & when I asked to speak with management, (to let them know this waitress was the best ever.) Excellent customer service from the time we walked in through the entire dinner service. ChandlerC the hostess, greeted us with a smiling face and was so pleasant while walking us to our table. A good experience but quite expensive. I suggest going Thursday when the couples meal is cheap ($42). No special deal is made of birthdays or Anniversaries. You should get a free desert.

First a shout out to our waiter, Tyler who was very pleasant, polite and efficient. Just enough chit chat but mostly business, which I appreciated! ! My husband ordered the Salmon Four Course Feast (incl soup, salad, entree and desert). He was so full that he brought the brownie and scoop of icecream home. Red Lobster has gone through some big changes over the years and service at this location can be hit or miss some nights but we stopped in about a month ago and had the best service here EVER.  Nicki was our server and she went above and beyond for us.  She was friendly and attentive and made sure we enjoyed our experience there. Next time we go back we will definitely as to be seated in her section if she is working. So - ask for Nicki and she will take great care of you! More...

Our server was excellent. We did not like the coconut dip that came with our shrimp and he was very quick to accommodate us with some cocktail sauce. I have been to several locations in all the years I have eaten at this chain. I really enjoy the consistency of the food choices and quality accross the different locations. I havent had a less than great experience, even the few times waitstaff or cooks fell short of being timely in service. The staff I have interacted with, and this location was no different, have been fun, friendly, and well-mannered, which greatly contributes to the dining experience. I will admit it has been YEARS since I have been to Red Lobster. It just isn't my thing. So I really wasn't looking foward to the visit when my friend insisted he felt like endless shrimp. I didn't, but I decided to take one for the team.I was pleasantly surprised that in on a Friday in the heart of Times Square the place wasn't packed with a line of people waiting. But then again, it was early. I arrived there at 4 and was able to be immediately seated upstairs even though my boyfriend was running late. I recieved the requisite cheesy biscuits and ordered a Bahama Mama. Best Bahama Mama I've had in a while! Tasty and not light on the liquor. Service was great. Our waitress was very accommodating. Especially when an extra person showed up to our table for 2. We weren't hassled to hurry up as we talked over drinks. But she was ready and waiting when we were ready to order. I didn't like being reminded by the waitress that you can't share the endless shrimp. I guess it IS Red Lobster. But other than that, I'm glad I came. Shrimp was typical shrimp. Always great for a good fun lobster dinner that most if not all can afford. I have always enjoyed it and I tell ppl who are food snobs go take a hike. I've eaten at world class restaurants around the world and had lobster in Thailand and Hawaii in a 2 Michelin restaurant was it better sure but it also cost 8 times as much. Was it 8 or 10 times better... HELL NO !!  lol  Love to go with the wife for lobfest and eat as much as we can. Not sure about all the shrimp dishes. A few friends and I realized we have in common, that none of us had eaten at Red Lobster before, so we made a plan to go despite seeing that this particular location has only 2. 5 stars on Yelp. Boy were we in for a surprise. We had a fantastic time. The food arrived timely and mostly tasted very good. I ordered a lobster dish and my dish was probably the worst of the spread, but I tasted the other plates and everything else was really better. My conclusion is either that lobsters are ironically not the restaurant's strong suit, or my particular order on this day didn't meet a usual expectation. They get a pass on my dish because everything else was delicious.The atmosphere of the restaurant is well set. Casual, but not too loud. Dining area and bathrooms were clean. This is important. The waitress, Laura, deserves to be mentioned by name. She was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. It felt like she wanted to be there, and I suppose that is the highest praise you can give to any service person. We wouldn't hesitate to go back to this location. More...
