Red Fin Crudo can put out some great food. Had the street corn, goat cheese empanada, and calamari, and were all delicious. Definitely one of the better elote preparations I've had, and the calamari was crispy with a great dipping sauce. Would definitely want to go back to try more of the dishes! More...

So many great restaurants to choose from in Providence and was only here for one night but I'm so glad I selected this one. Just look at the photos of the food, everything is absolutely amazing. I sat at the bar and it's a great spot to chat with the bartender and learn about the history of the restaurant and the town. I won't even go into details about what to order, just go here and order what you fancy. You won't be disappointed. They have some great cocktails as well and the owner gifted us a molten chocolate brownie dessert that was to die for. It melted in my mouth literally. Hope you enjoy this place as much as I did. Atmosphere-2 stars, felt more like a cafeteria style table and metal chairs, very uncomfortable an awkward seating right next to kitchen Food-4. 5, great dynamic flavor definitely overpriced. Paid about 15$ for two empanadas....Staff- very nice but service could have been better was the end of the night so this could have effected it. Overall: I probably won’t be back due to the high price and low quantity. But definitely worth coming and trying for a unique flavor. Definitely better tapas restaurant around. More...

I was really impressed with the service here. From the start with the call for reservations and right away being asked if there were any food allergies/accommodations needed (I have Celiac), to warmly being greeted and welcomed and then seated where the menu was waiting at the table hand marked for me outlining the gf options available as well as what other items could be adjusted to meet my needs. That was a very special and attentive touch that I had not had before. The waiter was very kind and attentive and the food and drinks came promptly and were great. Really enjoyed the Bermuda Fizz and for food the Churrasco, Latin Street corn as well as the Albondigas were a hit for us! The atmosphere was very cool and cozy too! More...

Amazing night at the hottest restaurant in Providence. Had the most talented server, I think his name was Tyler. Very knowledgeable about the menu and wine pairings. Came here after Waterfire and it was good! I'm not giving it 5 stars cause the lobster Mac and cheese that we ordered was just soso. We had to ask for salt and pepper so we can season it. The place looks small when you walk in but there's a whole section in the back. The corn is NOT on the cob which was disappointing and it should say that on the menu cause we probably wouldn't have ordered it. The fish tacos was good! They were only two but that's all you need. Very tasty!! We did not order any drinks but they looked good. I would def come back on my next trip to providence and try some other things on the menu. More...

I walked here from the Omni while in town for a conference for dinner on a weeknight. The atmosphere was relaxed and it wasn't too crowded. Â Although they have a variety of tables I sat at the bar--bartender was friendly and helpful and made sitting at the bar interesting and not awkward as I feared. Others sitting nearby were also friendly. I got the street corn which was a delicious and good size bowl of corn melted cheese goodness and seasonings, and a dozen oysters, and a lovely recommendation for wine. I'm partial to east coast oysters and these did not disappoint! They were from RI and MA and served with delicious horseradish and another sauce, but really the fresh lemon is all they needed. Definitely met my need for oysters while in town and I'd recommend this wholeheartedly. If you go ask the bartender (didn't catch his name) how his oyster sampling is going! More...

Is was my first visit to Red Fin Crudo, though my dining partner had been here once prior. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, and we were seated immediately on a busy "Water Fire" Saturday evening. We had an early reservation at 6:15 pm, and reservations are strongly recommended on the weekends. They offer small plates and we sampled:* FENNEL & HONEY GOAT CHEESE SALAD $14Fennel I Farmer's Greens I Frisee I Honey Goat Cheese I Almonds I Cara Cara Orange I Pear Dressing* SCALLOPS AND LOBSTER $18 Bay Scallops I Pt. Judith Lobster I Sweet Corn Cream Sauce I Succotash* CROQUETAS DE JAMON $14 Serrano Ham Croquettes I Manchego Cheese I Citrus Aioli I Roasted Red Pepper I Frisee* CRISPY PLANTAIN CHIPS $3 The food was very good, the salad lightly dressed, the scallops and lobster were swimming in a tasty cream sauce, and the croquettes were my favorite, surprisingly light and delicious. There is no bread of any kind offered, which is a shame as the scallop and lobster sauce provided an excellent reason to have some! The dining room in the back is roomier than the bar area in the front. If there are not large parties there, I'd recommend the back dining room. The front is long and narrow, so it creates a hallway thoroughfare, and thus the ambiance is somewhat lacking. It wouldn't be my first choice for a quiet and intimate venue. An important tip for those of you who may not be extremely petite. There are two colors of metal chairs provided, red and yellow. The red chairs are very narrow with two support bars that uncomfortably squeeze the bottom. They are really annoying for anyone other than those boasting 120-pound frames! The hostess was kind enough to bring me a yellow chair, offering sufficient albeit hardly ample seating capacity. I requested the chair change when I saw them doing this for another patron.Overall, we enjoyed dining here and would be likely to return. A solid 4 stars for this evening. More...

I can not say enough about Red Fin. My wife and I traveled to Providence for a weekend away, we ended our last night with a dinner at Red Fin + Crudo Kitchen sad to say. And when I say sad, it is because if I knew how amazing the food and service would be I would have eaten here more than once on our visit. The menu is primarily tapas focused and outstanding. Our party of four had; charred octopus (our customer service person noted red fin uses more fresh octopus then any other restaurant in RI & MA), hummus, alitas de pollo, oysters, bacon wrapped scallops, croquetas de picadillo, a fresh salad and specialty drinks. While the octopus and scallops were spectacular, the rest of the dishes were outstanding. Wow all around. The customer service attendant was on top of his game and the restaurant was filled with customers. The owner is a Master Chef winner and while the night we visited was a bit chilly, she was outside (a few industrial heaters kept the area comfortable) moving chairs and cleaning tables for the next group of eager patrons. GREAT place all around and can't wait to return. More...
