Went to downtown Albuquerque and Drew our bartender was so friendly, knowledgeable, and laughed at our silly middle aged lady jokes

Five stars for the new menu and BURGERS. Their indoor ambiance could use some more lighting, but the beers are tasty, the service is pleasant and again the burgers are delicious. The outdoor seating is so nice to have a beer in, I wish it was summer so I could spend more time there! More...

There is a new menu at Red Door Downtown. Pub focused, meant to be enjoyed alongside a pint or two. The Dirty Fries are huge, topped with everything you can think of is best if shared. The burgers are all solid! Fish and chips made with the Irish Red Ale is killer. More...

Been here a few times to meet up with co-workers. Staff have been friendly and nice as well as knowledgeable. They usually have a food truck in the evenings when I have gone. They do trivia and open mic night etc. and have a calendar of events for the month. Plenty of seating tables and booths and the bathrooms are nice which is always a plus!! I would recommend! More...

A really cool selection of brews to offer! I think we may have some during an off season right after the university let out because there weren't too many folks around. However, the bartenders were incredibly kind and great company. A nice casual spot to return to. More...

It was a Saturday early afternoon so it was kind of slow inside but they were playing nice music and had delicious beer to offer. I enjoyed a white Ale, it had a nice honey taste up front and finished with a nice ale flavor. I'll make this review short because I only had 1 beer here.  My fiance and friend both had 2 because I am a slow drinker.  I tried some sort of blackberry gose .  It takes 200 pounds of blackberries to make this beer.  I thought it was unique and I would return for more.  I think my companions also liked this spot, but we didn't stay long because we wanted to explore.  The only thing I'll say is there is a giant fan in the back and we were dumb enough to sit there and the fan kept blowing all out napkins away. Good little place for an after work brew. The staff is friendly and attentive; not to mention personable.  The beer is good as well. Recommend the West Coast IPA and the Irish Red Ale.  The only thing I would change is adding chilled glasses to keep the brew colder longer, especially if you take a bit of time to drink one down. The Candelaria Red Door location doesn't look like much from the outside, but it's one of my favorite "no food" Brewery pubs in ABQ.  It's nice inside with very friendly folks and plenty of parking. Norah and Josh are two of my favorite bar-keeps, but they're all friendly/talkative. I am hooked on their Roamer Red Ale and their amazing Vanilla Cream Ale, but thought that I was screwed when I developed a mild gluten intolerance. But it turns out that the owner (or manager) has celiacs, and has quietly developed a whole line of gluten reduced beers, including their red and vanilla cream!  I've been drinking these for years and had no idea they were gluten reduced. They don't advertise this because they don't want to scare-off regular folks.  I've been exploring gluten reduced brew in the area, and Red Door has the best selection. With the exception of their wheat beers, everything they brew is gluten reduced. (Again, I've been enjoying their brews for years and had no idea). I've also discovered that Turtle Mountain and Bow & Arrow each has 2, and 2nd Street Brewery in Santa Fe has 5 gluten reduced brews. More...

this is the first bar that i've ever bought a shirt from, so i'll start off with that! they have a great list of beers, including some tasty IPAs that i really enjoyed. the bar itself is really nice and spacious inside, and doesn't have that stuffy vibe that a lot of breweries tend to have simply because they're breweries and that's the hip place to hang out at. the bartender was really friendly, and overall, it's just a great, chill place to check out after a long and exhausting hike! i definitely plan on checking this place out again when i'm back in ABQ. Good beer in a nice clean new space right downtown. Okay I don't make it out to the bars too frequently so this place may have been here for years. So it feels and looks new to me. Floor to ceiling windows let in a lot of light want was  visually pleasing. Decent amount of of beers on tap. I met a bunch of friends here so I wasn't able to scope out all the details about any other beverage options.  It's a nice place with friendly people that you should check out. I plan on going back when I get the chance. More...

The taproom is nice and open. Plenty of room at the bar and the tables are far enough apart that you don't have to sidestep to get to a back table. While there's nothing to eat other than chips and salsa, the beer more than makes up for any cravings. I've tried a flight of 6 different beers and different styles. There's not a bad one in the bunch. Everything was wonderful. Staff was attentive and pleasant. Bar and the entire taproom was clean. No tables with half empty glasses. I could go on; I am so impressed with Red Door; but most importantly, their beer exceeds all expectations. A must try for the roving beer connoisseur. More...

Food Allergy Review:I've been to Red Door Brewing Downtown twice so far, both times for Geeks Who Drink. I love this little brewery and as for the location I like that it's a little bit off of central. Getting to Red Door and finding parking is easy, both important factors for me when I want to go relax and have a drink with friends. The brewery is small and intimate and the staff are super friendly. I have celiac disease and I appreciate the cider and all of the gluten removed beers. Now, gluten removed beers are one of those things in the celiac community that we don't all agree on - some celiac or gluten sensitive people can't handle these drinks, while others don't have an issue. Red Door says their beer tests at less than 10PPM which is less than the FDA requirements for gluten free food. So it's up to you if you think this works for you, but they are upfront with the info and have a rotating selection of gluten free beer which is nice. If you don't trust the beer you can also always get a glass of wine!! As for food, Red Door only has chips and salsa, but they have a ton of menus for places that deliver and my FAVORITE part is that Rad[ish] is literally right next door. Rad[ishtotally gluten free to-go food option so the two together make a great pair!!! I definitely recommend Red Door for those avoiding gluten in their diet! Head on down and visit the friendly staff and enjoy a tasty beer. UPDATE: I did get glutened after visiting Red Door and I have 2 theories why. 1) I went for a Harry Potter quiz night and they had butterbeer. I asked if it was gluten free and they said yes, and I went back to my table for about 30 min. When I came back I just ordered a butterbeer and didn't specify gluten free. So maybe it was possible to make it gluten free, but because I didn't specify when I ordered, I got a gluten one. Option 2) The gluten removed beer is not gluten removed enough for a celiac. More...

Best. Ducking. Bar. Ever. The Roamer Red is the best red ale in the city. There. I said it. It's a comfortable and cozy bar full of the friendliest bartenders who aren't too good to get you a beer or too busy to let you sample a few. There's a bring your own vinyl night on Tuesdays where they play the records you bring. And now there's a food truck out back with killer fish & chips made with the red ale. More...
