What do you love most about your job?
Our CEO and Founder, Collette Portis, is so excited about each opportunity she gets to help make a business owner or entrepreneurs dream come true. When she speaks and after she graduates a client she always thanks them for allowing her to show up and exercise her greatness. It is important to her to connect with passionate and determined big dreams and thinkers. She often says, "Entrepreneurs are the worlds problem solvers." She understands that the work of our team at RED Development Group is important because we help increase the possibility that the greatest issues we face could be solved by one of our clients.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Collette comes from a family of entrepreneurs. Both of her parents, both sets of grandparents and her aunts and uncles. So, we say business is in her DNA. She went to college and earned 6 degrees. Yes, I said 6. Afterwards, she realized that there was so much more in her so she left her corporate job and started her own business. She now owns 3 companies, but her heart is helping business owners and entrepreneurs realize their dreams just as she's done. So, she spends most of her time as the CEO and Master Business Coach at RED. She's helped business owners in government, corporate 50, higher education, and K-12 schools grow and become sustainable.

Because we are a global business development firm we offer our clients an opportunity to coach with us virtually via Zoom, over the phone, and in person.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
All of our team members are required to wear masks if meeting with clients in person. More often than not, our clients meet with us virtually which allows everyone to maintain their COVID safety measures.
