We take our dog nova here and she is 100% a different dog from when we first started ! David and Kathleen are amazing! They make you feel like you and your dog are family! I would recommend them to anyone !

The trainers and dog training services provided by Really Good pets are absolutely outstanding! They offer a wide range of classes, from in-home private training to group classes, at an exceptionally reasonable price. They are experienced, certified, and I definitely appreciate their use of only Positive Reinforcement methods. My golden retriever pup is a sensitive girl, so we needed someone with patience and understanding, to help us both learn the ropes. While professional, they are also genuinely nice people, and have so much patience and understanding with the owners (since we all know that the dogs really run the show)! The individually developed plans really helped us work on the basics, along with specific areas that needed more time and assistance. They are also active and great participants in the community and spend time volunteering with therapy services and rescue groups! More...

Shannon and David are absolutely amazing. They are highly professional, incredibly knowledgeable, and truly care about your dog just as much as you do. They don't just train your dog- they train you and your dog to be a team. Working with Shannon changed my dog's quality of life immeasurably. I began sessions with Shannon expecting to have a better behaved dog in the end, but what I found is that the bond I have with my dog is so much stronger. I was almost ready to give up on my dog because she didn't seem happy and I felt like I was failing her as an owner. Shannon started by giving me confidence as an owner and trainer of my own dog, and then she showed me how to build my dog's confidence (and give her the stimulation her brilliant border collie brain needs) by training together and engaging in interactive play. The positive change in my dog's attitude and personality are astounding- she is no longer the timid, jumpy, neurotic border collie I adopted 5 years ago. She is confident, playful, and even cuddly! She refused to snuggle before, and now she sleeps right next to me in the bed every night. Thank you, Shannon, for teaching me how to bring out the best in my dog, and giving me my best friend. I have a really high energy, high sensitivity dog who barked a lot and was very difficult to calm down. I finally realized that I needed professional help for him so we would both know how to better communicate with each other. I found Really Good Pets, LLC online and I loved the idea of someone who only uses positive reinforcement. I contacted this company and received a very prompt response with a consultation scheduled for the same week. I was so impressed even following our first session with David! Our first session was incredibly frustrating for both my dog and I, but things got smoother every session. I booked David's 5 week class and it is truly amazing how effective and simple the training is. David possesses a gentle persistence with dogs that commands respect and an eagerness to learn. Â I greatly appreciate everything from the flexibility of scheduling, to individualized, private in-home sessions, to keeping it fun, and most importantly allowing me to understand my dogs' needs and how to communicate better with him. I definitely would have continued training with Really Good Pets, LLC if I had not moved to Texas. I highly recommend this training program for you and your dog. More...
