Rachel is amazing!! She stood in the pouring....and I mean pouring rain (right before Kauai had the big rains that caused massive flooding) for us and managed to get amazing photos, despite the sideways rain. She then did another shoot with us the next day so we could have some pictures of us where we were dry. Although we had been on the island for about a week we still didn't have the best ideas of where to go, she had great ideas and the day after pictures were beyond beautiful and so unique. She even helped me do my hair the next day to try to recreate the wedding day.

She is quick to respond, extremely professional and a great communicator. She is great at directing people for family and group pictures and her eye for candid shots is epic.

We absolutely loved working with Rachel and her team! My husband and I recently had our wedding at Sunset Ranch in Haleiwa and we hired Rachel as our engagement and wedding day photographer. The venue and Rachel’s skills and products (throughout the planning process up until our wedding day) could not have been more perfect.

After our initial engagement we immediately decided on having the wedding in Hawaii. I grew up on Oahu and wanted to have our ceremony in nature with local vendors to highlight the beauty of my home state. Rachel was recommended as a preferred photographer by our wedding planner. As a resident of Oahu, Rachel knew the area and was readily available to provide us with insight and suggestions during the wedding planning process.

Our engagement photo shoot was in Waimanalo. Rachel was able to pick a perfect location along the beach. She remained professional and her final product was sent out without complications.

Over the course of a year of preparation for our big day, Rachel continued to be very supportive and professional. She treated us as friends, rather than another number, while still maintaining professionalism, and both my husband and I felt that she was there for us in an effort to make our day go as smoothly as possible.

The wedding day went very smoothly thanks in no small part to Rachel and her assistant. Besides having wonderful interactions with our guests, Rachel and her assistant went above and beyond preparing for the ceremony (helping to bustle my dress and teaching my husband and his groomsmen to tie ties). After the wedding, Rachel sent us a link to our pictures which turned out beautifully. We also received a photo album with her preferred pictures.

Rachel did such an amazing job capturing our surprise engagement in Oahu on 9/21/2017. The pictures came out beautiful, and she was able to turn them around exceptionally fast without sacrificing any quality. Everyone loved the pictures, but more importantly my fiancee did. In planning a surprise proposal in Oahu from San Diego, I was really looking for someone with great customer service, and Rachel delivered! She was phenomenal throughout the entire process, starting from the first e-mail, to the several lengthy phone calls to discuss the logistics. If it was possible to give 7/5 stars, I WOULD.  We scheduled for her 6 hour service, which earns one free hour, and she also utilized two shooters, (Herself and a partner) which allowed for SO MANY BEAUTIFUL PICS.  We just received our photo pack and we are so happy with the results.  Beautiful pictures that will forever embody are day are already so worth it, but we truly feel she went above and beyond her calling.  I am the first of our sisters to get married, so she gave a lot of advice about the event in terms of procedure and even little things that we might have forgotten (My train when coming down the aisle for example, fixing and pinning the dress up, coaching my party and family, working brilliantly with my planner etc.) and even when the inevitable hoard of cell phone cameras and jump ons (Oh YOU TOO, COME ON JUMP IN THIS PICTURE!) came, she maintained a professional composure that kept both my husband and I at ease.  And her coaching during our photo sessions was smooth sailing in both humorous and romantic pics.  I will never hesitate to recommend her services to anyone searching and her prices are MORE THAN WORTH IT.  Words fail to convey how thankful we are to have gone with her service! Complete peace of mind. If you want high quality, very professional and original photos tailored to your unique needs, look no further. Not only did Rachel exceed my expectations but I can’t tell you how many times not only friends and family, but random people have literally gone out of their way to tell me how phenomenal my photos were. I originally hired her to do my engagement photos, but since then have hired her to shoot my wedding, family parties and a pregnancy shoot. It’s been a year since my wedding and people STILL talk about how cool, romantic and fun all of my photos were! :)

Her easy going, “put you at ease” personality. One of the reasons why Rachel is able to take such amazing photos is because she immediately puts you at ease. She takes great care to listen to what YOU wish to accomplish, and then talks you through the steps in order to make you comfortable enough to relax and just have fun in front of the camera. My fiancé, now husband, was very nervous about taking pictures, but after five minutes with Rachel, we were able to shake off the nerves and just have a good time with each other. I can't even begin to describe how amazing Rachel is and if we could give over 5 stars we would. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Not only is she a brilliant photographer, but she's a wonderful person. We've gotten to work her twice: once at our engagement photo shoot while we were visiting in March and at our wedding just last week. My new husband and I have never had professional photos done previously so we were a bit nervous, but she managed to set us at ease with her sense of humor and made us feel comfortable in front of the camera. She encouraged us to move naturally, offered honest feedback, and gave helpful tips to avoid awkward poses producing better pictures. On our wedding day, she went above and beyond. My husband's bowtie had been undone just prior to the ceremony and once it was retied she tweaked it to ensure that it was perfect. Our planning process was made simple with Rachel from the beginning. She was one of the first vendors we met with as we knew our photographer was a very important part of capturing our day and all the memories to come. Not only did she help guide the process, she also directed us to other wonderful vendors such as our hair/makeup consultant. Rachel was very responsive through both email and text, which can be very helpful for two busy brides.

On the day of our wedding, Rachel helped with the flow and timeline of each part. She was organized and assisted the coordinator. She brought an assistant who captured areas we were not able to see, including cocktail hour and parts of the reception when we were doing our couple's photos. All of our bridal party immediately connected with her passionate and outgoing personality. She made people smile (which is always helpful for photos) and really made the entire photography process seamless and easy. In my opinion photography is one of the most important vendors you can choose for you wedding. If your wedding looks amazing but your photographer is subpar, all of that effort and coordination won't be captured in the way that you want. And really, while the other parts of the wedding were part of that day, you'll have the photos forever! So needless to say photography was a priority for us and Rachel was everything we were looking for! She was very responsive from the beginning and extremely professional. I was planning my wedding from the mainland so I wasn't able to meet her in person beforehand, but she was so sweet and i immediately felt at ease! I had complete faith in Rachel to get the shots that we needed and she totally did. Taking group pictures (which can be crazy and last forever) was really easy because Rachel knew exactly how to orchestrate it. Since I didn't really have a "vision" for my photos I really relied on Rachel's expertise to have varied and dynamic shots and they were all stunning. I would HIGHLY recommend Rachel to anyone!!! What can we say if you are thinking about hiring Rachel for your special day we couldn’t recommend a better person for the job. We initially contacted Rachel as one of the recommendations from our wedding co-ordinator and initially sent her a brief outline of our requirements via email; even though we are based in Australia Rachel was very good at communicating in a timely fashion. We were able to Skype with Rachel and plan how the day was going to plan out. Rachel was very forthcoming in recommendations based on our location. Rachel was flexible with payment arrangements; we were able to pay via credit card from Australia.
Fast forward to the big day Rachel and her assistant arrived on time to take pre-wedding photos of the bridal party and guests. Rachel took spectacular photos and captured breathtaking moments from our wedding. Rachel has an eye for taking great shots. The images turned out fantastic. We also had a trash the dress session booked and Rachel kindly accommodated two session’s one at Waimanalo Beach and Makapu’u for some beach shots and underwater shots.
The photos were provided by digital format and USB – there are so many fantastic photos we are finding it hard to decide which photos to blow up on canvas. We have shown our photos to so many people and they have all commented on how beautiful the images turned out. More...

We're so grateful that she was available to cover our wedding in Kaimuki this past April.Although I had a very tiny ceremony (16 people total, including my husband and me), she put everyone at ease (even our priest!) and got some amazing shots of our venue and everyone in attendance. Rachel is an amazing photographer! I'm not comfortable having my photo taken so I was not looking forward to having photos taken all day on my wedding day. I thought I would look very unnatural and uncomfortable in photos, but Rachel was so great at putting my husband and I at ease throughout the whole day. Although I had a very tiny ceremony (16 people total, including my husband and me), she put everyone at ease (even our priest!) and got some amazing shots of our venue and everyone in attendance. Her work was one major aspect of our wedding that we definitely didn't need to stress over.

I've done several photo sessions with Rachel and have loved them all. Most recently we did a maternity shoot followed by a newborn session. Rachel captured images of my baby girl that I will forever cherish. Rachel is really easy to work with and always exceeds my expectations. We loved working with Rachel. She has a brilliant eye and was very easy going but still able to herd cats and get everything done when we needed to hurry up a little bit because of the weather - all without seeming rushed or taking anything away from the party. She got great photos and lots of photos of even the most reluctant and camera shy guys. ;) We have so many good photos to choose from that we still have not been able to decide what to put on our walls. We were very blessed that we were able to have Rachel capture our special day. Rachel and her team were absolutely incredible. Rachel was absolutely amazing!!! From the first time we met she made me feel so comfortable. We had a 7 hour package and I would highly recommend it! ! The whole day from start to finish was captured and the finished product was out of this world!!! I was so so happy with the photos they were beautiful. Rachel captured so many special moments we had and I didn't even know she had taken them. I would also recommend doing a trash the dress shoot with Rachel as I love them just as much as the wedding :). Rachel was our photographer for our September 1st 2015 wedding and she was amazing! She arrived on time and ready to, making the most of the four hours together. Even though we had never met before that day my husband and I immediately felt comfortable with her. At the end of our session I asked if it would be possible to have a just couple pictures ready within a few weeks so that we could display them at the reception we were having on September 26th. She said it wouldn't be a problem- we were blown away when she emailed me ten days later to say all of our photos were ready! They are stunning and such a great reminder of that special day. Rachel shot our engagement and wedding photos, and she was an absolute pleasure to work with. Five stars across the board, and gorgeous photos to cherish forever. Our wedding was the day after a big storm, and my indoor/outdoor venue had to be tarped (ugly blue tarp!) and the weather was super hot and humid...
