I have been coming to R+R Dental for years. Even though I moved from Queens to Westchester, I continue to make the trek because I wouldn't trust anyone else with my mouth, teeth, gums, etc. The office is state of the art with massage/heated chairs and extremely professional. Hygienists are awesome (especially Nikki and Wendy) and the dentists always make sure to thoroughly review your history, and talk over what is being done and any recommendations. We were loyal customers for a long time. I had no problems with the hygienists but recently I lost my trust in RR. My son had a filling barely one year ago and it got chipped. He doesn't eat hard food or shellfish. The dentist did not tell me it was the same tooth that she filled last year. She showed no intention to back her work. She just estimated a new bill. Most insurances don't cover the filling of the same tooth within 2 years of time frame for a reason. The worst was that I had to ask the office to find out it was the same tooth. Also my son is already 14 yo, she didn't bother to spend a second to explain to him what happened. She just came to me to tell me and give me the invoice. I have been a patient of Dr. Rivera for about ten years. She does exquisite work with a light touch; she is thorough, conscientious and considerate. Nikki, her Dental Hygienist, is the best I have ever had and all the staff are very professional, skilled, considerate and friendly. Rivera explains everything without making you feel pressured to get everything done all at once. The office is clean and modern with state-of-the-art technology, using oral cameras and 3-D printing of crowns in minutes. I'll start this by telling you I'm not generally a fan of dentists. That being said I found R&R dental a few years ago and I couldn't be happier. Good location, plenty of parking. I've always been able to get an appointment. I'm usually very apprehensive going to the dentist but they are great . They put you at ease and do what They have to do to get you in and out. This place is a carnival/zoo. You walk in and there is a prize and tour guide given you the pep talk. I just want a professional, calm, dental office without the pinatas, baloons, freebies, pep squad. ..  There are so focused on the festivities that the quote I was confirmed and reconfirmed by their staff on the phone rior to my visit was 1/4 what they were going to charge me. We LOVE R&R Dental. Everyone is so nice and caring. I have 4 children (3 of which go to the dentist) and they are so gentle with them and my kids had fears so I owe them everything for making their experience so wonderful. Best. Dentist. Ever. Ok so I have bad teeth and gums. A combination of genetics and admittedly, not the greatest dental hygiene. I also had a horrible experience w a bad dentist years ago and had avoided dental work for a while (not a good idea, having said bad teeth). When my husband said he’d found the best dentist ever, I took it w a grain of salt (not a grain of sugar, mind you-sugar rots your teeth). When I visited Dr. Richer the first time I was nervous but SUPER impressed with their bright, clean office! Dr. R checked out my mouth and confirmed I wasn’t in the best shape but his gentle tone and caring nature put me at ease. He listened to my fears about pain and the first time he worked on me I was even more at ease, the way he showed such great concern for my comfort and well being. And it’s been the same experience at every visit since. His staff are all the same; kind, gentle, friendly people. Michelle, my hygienist is so sweet and so thorough. She teaches me how to better care for my gums in a way that I can tell she genuinely cares. And when it comes time to pay your bill, they don’t simply charge you...they go above and beyond to be sure your insurance company pays everything they should so you don’t get overcharged. The best dental clinic experience I have ever had. First time they greeted me and gave me a tour of the installations and their equipment. Extremely nice and informing about very procedure they were going to perform. They even gave me a welcome gift with a kit of dental floss, tooth paste, tooth brush and a blanket with their logo to use if I get cold during the appointment. Top of the line equipment: massaging chairs, TVs in every station, X-ray, imaging and other equipments within the same station.
