Quintessential Elegance is just that, quintessential and elegant. As my contractor, I began to call Ms. Amoye the creative designer working on my new home, the Magician. She literally took what my wife and I thought was garbage and revived those pieces with such artistry that left all of us stunned. We moved in and are still in aw as to how it is for someone to take stuff that have been sitting in storage for years that have been written off, and transformed them working with limited support. We described to the designer Ms. Amoye that we wanted an Afropolitan home, using some things very old, somethings old but very little new within a very limited budget.
She worked her magic and left stunning results that achieved what we had envisioned - simply miraculous.

What’s your interior design process?
Our process is quite simple. We start with a short questionnaire of approximately 20 questions. This is a first stage understanding of what you're looking for and helps us both determine if we are a good match for each other. Once we have come to this agreement, we then put together a proposal which details scope and projected timelines, responsibilities, fees and payment schedules among other things.
Which interior design styles can you cater for?
Every style! Our role is to interpret your style and deliver your vision. Are there styles we absolutely love doing, sure! Transitional, Modern Elegance and Coastal are some of our favorites.
What do you love most about your job?
I love seeing the joy of our clients when their newly completed space is revealed. The highest compliment we've received was from a client who said, you can take any space and make it feel like home and not just filled with objects". This particular client has now allowed us to complete three of his homes around the globe.
What inspired you to start your own business?
A client in my strategic consulting business came to my home for a Holiday party and after 3 more visits asked me to do his home. While I had always enjoyed doing homes and had done so for my friends and family over a span of 15 years, I had not considered doing this full time prior to this opportunity. It was the best decision I ever made.
