I needed to change my job to the Brooklyn area... The most devastating change was being too far from Fran's amazing cooking where i have picked up lunch there almost everyday. She is a chef like no other... And i am super picky... Must be mostly organic and healthy...she cooks it all and not only tastes FANTASTIC but her choices are endless... Hot.. Cold...unique and tasty... Any way my point here is if u are anywhere near this area... There is by far no better and healthier place to have lunch or shop for healthy gourmet choices. I wish them many years of good health, wealth and happiness and who knows... Maybe they will open store # 2 in Brooklyn!!! Or better by my home in long island... Love u guys Will and Fran!!! The prepared food at this store is better than the food prepared at restaurants. The standard here is unmatched. Tons of options for healthy eaters - vegetable dishes galore.
I especially like your roasted cabbage salads and roasted artichokes.
The owner of this shop is very creative. The hot food selection is diverse and not always the same.
And as for the meat selection - AMAZING. From meat to chicken to fish to turkey - the meat you make here is absolute top quality!
And the entire staff - so nice, friendly & wonderful folks!

Only place in nyc that I know of that always has grass-fed ox tail, beef liver, chicken gizzards and a nice selection D'artagnan meat in stock at all times. They also have a bunch of nice beers to pair everything with, and the best thing about this place is that it is next to Queens Health Emporium. One stop shopping! More...
