Reese Tee is not only good with ppl that he provide service for but also with people who do the same job as he does. Sort of competitors but he does not consider it that way. Good sense of humor, attention to details and professionalisam with solidarity to fellow handymans are inborn traits to Reese Tee. More...

Reese responded almost immediately to my request . I had about 30 items I needed assembled for my salon grand opening. Reese’s rates were competitive and reasonable. He communicated effectively and clearly about my needs and appointment. He actually confirmed with me ahead of time . These simple things are rare these days with hired help . The most impressive part is that he showed up with an assistant to get the job done in a timely fashion AND he came with his own fold out table , and padded blanket to ensure my items didn’t get damaged during assembly. I plan to use him shin very soon . More...

Reese was hired to assemble 2 small side tables, a dresser, a bench, and two twin bed frames, and hang an extra large mirror and some shelves. I was satisfied with his first visit and hired him for a second day. Large mirror was challenging as a platform above the stairs had to be rented and erected, and it was tricky to get access to. The only service opportunities Reese had is that he did not sweep up under the areas he hung art/shelves (I cleaned after him with a hand-vac and wet paper towel) and one of the bed frames was assembled incorrectly, so I had to move/widen one side of the metal frame supports. Communication was strained at times. Regardless, I will hire Reese again. More...

Reese helped me install a very large television and was both very flexible in scheduling and easy to work with. Plus, as an added bonus, given that the work was not too complicated he asked me whether I would be willing to, instead of paying him his quoted fee, writing a check out to a local food pantry in that amount. As I'm an advocate of stopping food insecurity, I was pleasantly surprised by that gesture and agreed happily. Great guy and great service (with a heart). More...

Reese is a great guy who is knowledgeable and very thorough.  After moving into a much bigger house, the amount of assembly and mounting of pictures and curtains was overwhelming. Reese was a life saver. I attempted to put my furniture/file cabinet together but was unsuccessful. I finally gave up and decided to email Reese who responded right away, gave me a great price and came to my house the following day. Reese had my furniture put together in no time. While at my house he even fixed my hanging flat screen which was hung incorrectly. I highly recommend Reese. More...

I worked with Reese and his assistant last month for the first time and was very impressed. They hung a large hallway full of art in a gallery style installation, another room with a full grid installation and other various art pieces. They came fully prepared with everything needed to hang and cool gadgets I didn't know existed to aid him. He was fantastic to work with and I will definitely be contacting him again for future projects! More...

We did a makeover of our kid's room: Two loft beds, two desks, two dressers, one heavy wall mounted mirror the kids will have to share (poor babies). We thought about tackling this ourselves. Glad we didn't. Reese came in with a helper, tools, trays, spare parts and banged it out in a day. Cheaper than a marriage counselor or divorce attorney, that's for sure. More...

I have had Reese work for me on a number of projects. He does excellent work!! He is thoughtful and can figure out what to do when furniture instructions are incomplete or missing. He has assembled probably 6 pieces of furniture from trundle beds to a very expensive console, cabinets, dressers. He always has on hand any missing parts. And never quits until everything is just right. He is very professional and easy to be around. More...

Reese and his team were professional, efficient and meticulous. They came early, armed with a large number of professional tools and spare parts and were able to assemble 4 rooms of furniture including beds/headboards, side tables, hanging curtains and even building a children's play set in one day of work. I had a number of other professionals simultaneously finishing work in my place prior to my moving in and Reese was very courteous and flexible despite being interrupted and having to pause or move several times throughout the day. Though I consider myself fairly handy, it's worth every penny and more to have a team of professionals come and build everything efficiently and well and I'd definitely use Put My Stupid Thing Together in the future. He put together with another man a full IKEA apt in two days (including two bed sofa, a container bed, closet, shelves, cart etc). Very professional, prepared, flexible and entertaining.

He brought clean shoes for the house, plenty of tools and protective carpeting solutions. When there was something damaged or missing parts, he looked into his bag and found what we needed to keep things moving (avoiding me extra trips and extra mess with IKEA).

Q&As

I love the variety and challenge. While it does not pay a lot, helping out seniors on fixed income is very rewarding.

Saw something on the news back in 2011 about an internet company who hooked up people with assembly skills and those who needed things assembled, just kept moving forward and putting money back into the operation ever since.

I am new to BARK, so I do not have many reviews here. But I have a substantial number of favorable reviews on a number of other platforms. You can jump to some of my profiles from my website.

As a rule no. However, from time to time, I will coach people over the phone for very simple jobs. For example, assembling the Lazy Boy (and the copy cats) recliners, this is very easy for an average person...if they know how to do it.

Enitre crew is vaccinated and boosted. We can wear masks with advance notice. The overwhelming majority of my customers are also vaccinated.
