Great Eggs Benedict and home fries. The eggs were perfectly cooked and the hollandaise sauce was so creamy. Since it was brunch I had a Pirate's Punch and it was very tasty! Great atmosphere, fun and casual.

Proud Mary's is our go to weekend spot when we go out for breakfast. We have all been very happy with the food, service and of course love the location of the harbor. It's a great spot to eat, followed by a leisurely walk around the Dana Point harbor. They make a great Bloody Mary and, on the weekends, practically everyone is drinking them! I typically order the eggs benny (not the best I've ever had but VERY good for the price) and my boys love the pancakes. You can't really go wrong as everything is delicious. The bacon avacado omlet add extra cheese was probably one of the best omlets I've ever had. The eggs were perfectly cooked, not a single brown mark. The bacon was perfectly crispy. We came here for brunch on a Saturday. It looked pretty busy with people waiting outside. We were told it'd be a 20min wait, which we thought was fine. It was a great day to just stand by the dock and watch the boats. There was a sea lion perched at the end of one. Made the 20min go by pretty quick. Ambiance: We were seated at a table in the middle of the dining room. We opted for first available over ocean front table. TBH, we could see the ocean pretty great from the middle table. If you're not in a rush & not hungry, the front row tables are probably worth it, but I'd say there's no bad-view seat in the house. Food: After much debate, I landed on the Country Eggs Benedict. Eggs Benedict with a sausage patty, smothered in country sausage gravy. It was everything I did not know I needed. I love gravy. It comes with a side of home fries and I let some of them soak in the gravy as well. That should be its own dish. Home fries covered in gravy! The home fries were mostly cooked, but could have used more time in the frier. Service:Service was good. Our waitress (all staffers) was pretty busy, but I never felt rushed. Despite the amount of customers, I found the food still came out pretty quick, which was nice. However, it was at the. expense of nicely browned/crisp home fries. What an awesome place! My husband and I were visiting Dana Point for the day and stopped in for lunch. The food was really great, the view was terrific but I have to give a shout-out to Steve the owner. Â What a wonderful and delightful man! He treated us like we were family and made our dining experience so amazing! Our server Melissa, was terrific and attentive. Everything was perfect!! Loved this little place!! Perfect view and great service. We went 2 out of 3 days we were in town. Food was supper yummy. First day Sarah waited and on us and second day a different Sarah did and they were both excellent servers . Steve, one of the owners pleasantly greeted us at our table. There's something to be said about an owner that takes his time to see how your meal was. You can tell he takes great pride in his restaurant and values his employees.
