Wow! Diane was wonderful and she had exactly what I was looking for. Customer service was great and very personalized. For a  bride there are so many things to do for a wedding and it is easy for things to slip through the cracks. For me it was the invitations, until I met Diane at bridal shower and Promise West saved the day.  Diane took the time help pick and choose the most beautiful designed for my budget  during the bridal show.  The customer service Promise West provides is extraordinary as she was even able to add an line to invitation after I said the proof was good to go and something needed changed.  The all in one invitation was perfect modern simple classic look for my wedding. The turn around was less than two weeks when other vendors told me it would take at minimum six weeks. Diane at Promises West helped create the perfect wedding invitation for us! At our first meeting she asked us about our wedding day so she could get a feel for what we were looking for. She showed us many unique invitations. I love the fact that we were able to touch and feel the actual paper stock verses seeing things on line and unable to know the weight of the paper. There were so many steps involved from choosing the fonts, the printing process, ink versed foil and then deciding on our wording. Diane walked us through each step and made it so easy for us. She even helped us stay within our budget. She made all our visions come true for our wedding, starting from our uniquely designed invitations, to our exquisite table numbers to the beautiful and detailed place cards. Diane is the absolute best. Â She knows her craft and she is the best invitation maker and creator in all of California. She is super easy to work with and she is an overall sweet person. One of my closest friend was supposed to do my wedding invitations and was unable to do it due to unforeseen circumstances. I never imagined anyone else doing them and was extremely sad that she wasn't able to. I love Yelp and turned to it as I needed someone ASAP. I came across Promises West. I went on their website, read all the Yelp reviews and went through all their pictures. I decided to call and get a quote. I spoke with Diane and caught her at inconvenient time. However, she took a moment shared what she was doing, which I appreciated the fact she actually shared what was going on. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Husband and I had our wedding at Westchester Lutheran Church where Diane M. was the church coordinator. She was kind, professional, patient, responsive, and accommodating. She answered every questions I had and customized the wedding ceremony to my needs. She paid attention to details and made sure my event went smoothly: from the music selection to the order of the ceremony to logistics (parking, security, etc). I went on Yelp and found Promises West and I'll definitely recommend and refer Diane to ANYONE. For people who want to see their invitations IN HAND before sending them out and knowing exactly what you're going to get, I loved that I could actually meet the person doing my invites and ask as many questions I wanted! She has a ton of books with all sorts of invitation styles to choose from as well. It was just so easy working with her and if you tell her your budget, she will suggest things to help you stay within your budget.
Also, her husband printed the return address and shipping address on the inner AND outer envelopes for a small fee! It was a one stop shop and I couldn't be happier with the results of the invitations and envelopes!

What do you love most about your job?
The thing I love most about my job is assisting customers with their special occasion! I have always loved stationery along with planning my wedding and special events. So putting these two things together has been one of the most rewarding jobs I have ever had!
What inspired you to start your own business?
I had purchased my wedding invitations from a lady that worked from her home and had two small children. Since then I had always kept that in the back of my mind, that is what I would want to do when I start a family. I was in the wine industry for 13 years and when I had my second child I wanted to be home to raise the children along with pursuing my dream of having my own invitation business. 22 years later I can still say, I love what I do as much as when I started Promises West!
Why should our clients choose you?
I believe the 22 years of experience I have of doing invitations, save the dates, programs, place cards and accessories along with the passion I have to assist each customer and help them create their perfect suite is the main reason why I should be chosen.
Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
My services can be conducted online via website, zoom, emails and phone calls but if you are in the Los Angeles area it is best to make an appointment so that you can come in and see the invitations first hand (touch and see the stationery). I then, can meet with you personally and go over all the options from paper stock, printing processes, ink and foil colors, fonts, wording and design to make it an easy and fun process!
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
At Promises West we go by all the CDC guidelines. Masks are required and we see customers outside weather permitting. If not, we see each other in a well ventilated room with the doors open and 6' apart.
