What do you love most about your job?
I really love working with people through difficult circumstances and tough decisions that impact their lives. I love seeing each person breakthrough to the solutions they need. I love it when people find personal peace.
What inspired you to start your own business?
having faced some really tough time myself and finding the breakthrough, I was able to help many people through tough times. So I made myself available and have a real community of lovely people working through difficult situations and experiences and finding peace. That is why I began my own personal practice (I also work in a residential community setting).
Why should our clients choose you?
I have a lot, a whole lot, of personal experience with health, economic, employment, and family crises. I've worked with so many wonderful people who have found themselves in difficult situations and found the way to peaceful resolve. I am professionally trained in pastoral counseling and care, psychology, leath care ethics, mental health, and educational psychology. I hold six degrees.
Personal Counseling
Think of me as a combination of life-coach, spiritual advisor, integrator, teacher, listener, minister, neighbor, friend with a lot of education, training, and life experience. In this session, I'll listen to you tell your story, help you to identify your strengths and strengthen your weaknesses while helping you find near-term, midterm, and longterm solutions to your problems. We'll spend 50-60 minutes per session.
Assessment
I'll work with you to identify just what it is you're struggling with, potential solutions to your problems, and the resources you already have and still need to find a peaceful resolution. We'll spend 50-60 minutes per session. I hope to achieve resolve within 4-6 sessions.
Careful listening and wise advice
I have been assisting people with life-altering problems for 40 years! I have worked in community, clinical, residential, and media settings with the most remarkable human beings anyone might ever know. I use my life experience, education (5 advanced degrees including 2 doctorates), and spiritual orientation to listen deeply and advise wisely. I look forward to hearing you and collaborating with you in finding solutions.
Spiritual Pathways
Religion and spirituality can be a source of confusion, conflict, as well as solace, strength, and wisdom. Like a fierce waterway, spirituality can harm or renew. I will prayerfully and carefully discern with you how you might harness the power of spirituality to turn negative experiences into positive ones. I am trained in five distinct spiritual modalities and am familiar with many more. We can do this in a single or multiple sessions.
