I loved working with the trainers here at pro push! After I got shoulder surgery I was weak and started becoming overweight and out of shape. But once I started working out here I converted an unhealthy 235 to a leaner, more muscular 225 and added 60 lbs to all of my weight maxes. Kristina and James are amazing! I've always struggled with losing weight and building muscle, and when she set my macro plan to fuel my body right and as every class is a great sweat and a great session, results start to show as fast as in two weeks! After I had my third baby I was left feeling frumpy and really unhealthy. I hated even getting dressed for the day because I felt so discouraged. Kristina helped me change all that! I lost all my baby weight, toned up my muscle and even found a new love for long distance running. I had never been athletic, nor had I really ever worked out in my life. Kristy gave me the motivation I needed and taught me how to feel good about myself. I eventually ran 10 and 12k's. I even ran a half marathon! This is something that I never, in a million years, thought I would or could do! When I got pregnant with my fourth baby I got really sick and had some complications. Needless to say I stopped working out and started eating junk again. I gained a lot of weight and am back to square one. What’s the secret to getting the body of your dreams?
Learn what your body responds best to - both with exercise and nutrition - and then be consistent with it! One size doesn't fit all. You must learn you and then do you! We can help you understand your body type and how to properly train and fuel for your goals.
What do you love most about your job?
Honestly, the best moments are to witness the look on someone's face when they experience success in their goals. It's absolutely rewarding and inspiring to be a part of. Regardless of the goal, I love to see people do what they once thought impossible for themselves. From completing a bucket list marathon to learning how to squat properly - I live for the moment a person's view of themselves change and they begin to believe - they can and will go the distance.
What inspired you to start your own business?
While we love to work with everyone, from losing weight to improving their athletic performance - My sister's struggle with cancer is why I finally took the plunge to open a gym with the right environment for individual success. After many hours and sleepless nights by her side, I decided it was time. Many need a gym where they're comfortable, regardless of the shape they are in today. Those who need access to good training, certified Nutritionist and commercial equipment are often the ones who will never step foot in a gym. That's when my motto became - Big box gym's are not for everyone, but healthy bodies are.
