Prancing Poodle is a locally owned small business. I am in business to provide outstanding care for your pets. I don’t sell your information to others. I only hire people I would trust with my own pets. My business is licensed, insured, and my employees are bonded. What this means is that when you are booking your pet care services, you are dealing with the owner of the company who prioritizes your satisfaction, not searching through an online directory for help with your most prized possessions.

At the center of my business is my love for animals. When I care for your pets I know exactly how much you love them because I am sure it is the same amount of love I feel for my pets. All of my business processes have been developed with your animals in mind. We want you and them to love the experience of using our services.

Before owning Prancing Poodle, I really struggled to find someone to help me with the care of my dogs. I had a position that required constant travel and I was always more worried about my dogs than anything else. So when I looked at what services to offer in my business, I decided to offer type of care I needed for my own pets. I wanted service that was flexible, that I could use when I needed to be gone for a day, a weekend, or even longer periods of time. And most importantly, I wanted care that was absolutely reliable.

Whether you need a quick drop-in service to let your dog out, or you want someone to sleep over with your pets, Prancing Poodle has you covered.

Our Standards
I am really passionate about raising the standards of all pet care in this area. The hobby sitters who list themselves on the online directories are not required to have any particular credentials. At Prancing Poodle, our pet care assistants must pass a background check and have verifiable experience handling companion animals. They must also complete, at a minimum, a Pet First Aid and CPR course. We provide continuing education opportunities in a variety of pet care topics.

We are proud to offer a higher standard of pet care - and we are constantly looking for ways to improve our service. As a pet owner, you can be confident that we take our role in your pet’s life very seriously and only want the best for them.

Customer Service
Without happy customers, I wouldn’t have a business. I want to hear from you when you aren’t happy as much as I do when you are. I will personally follow-up with you. We ask a lot of questions of our customers to determine exactly what their service needs are. We work to exceed every customer’s expectations.

There is nothing worse than finding a service or product that you love and then it’s a hassle to try to book or buy it. We are pleased to offer you 24-hour online booking and payment services, either through a desktop version or a free mobile app for your phone. If you prefer not to use the computer, you can always call us and we will make your bookings for you.
