Popped in for a late lunch and it was surprisingly good, especially for the money. The cheese garlic rolls were the highlight of the meal. I'd go in just for those alone. My stromboli was cooked well and had lots of meat. My wife's chicken parm sub actually had a different red sauce than the appetizer did which was a bit surprising particularly because it wasn't as good. My son had a cheesesteak pizza and it was great however he would skip the tomato on it next time. I wouldn't hesitate to come in anytime for a great meal. More...

Located at the opposite end of Kroger in the Kroger shopping center, there is plenty of parking, but you'll need to cross a traffic lane to get to the restaurant. There are handicapped spaces available nearby, and access is close to the Portobello's door as well. There is typically a lot of foot traffic in the area, and cars coming from this direction on their way to Kroger are not always travelling at parking lot speeds, so just be aware.Inside is rather homey, with many booths and tables, plus two televisions showing sports and two showing menu items. There is a small entry area separated from the dining room by a low wall. This can get crowded as the register is immediately to the right of the door. The wait staff seems to try to sort out who is waiting for a pick up order vs. those looking for a table, but you can get lost in the crowd, so you may need to grab the server's attention to get seated. We ordered by phone and were told 30 minutes. I got there after 25 minutes, but the food was not ready for 45 minutes. There were four tables in use, along with three take out orders while I was waiting. We did notice the manager needs to authorize all discounts, even from their own coupons. Since he is also the chef, this can cause delays. I am pretty sure that's why my order took 15 minutes longer than I was told. This is not a high crime area at all, so I was a bit surprised when I noticed at least four cameras looking out over the dining area and two for the register. The spicy chicken pasta is one of my favorites. The pasta was cooked properly, as were the chicken slices. There is a nice heat to the dish, but nothing to break a sweat. The mushrooms and sun dried tomatoes are a nice compliment. The accompanying garlic bread was fine. The Asiago chicken pasta was good overall. The pasta was slightly overcooked, but not disappointingly so. The chicken slices were quite flavorful and properly cooked. The Asiago sauce includes bacon, sun dried tomatoes, and onion, and really adds a nice flavor to the dish. This dish also comes with the same garlic bread. We also ordered the garlic knots, which probably should be mandatory for every visit. They are large and you get a good portion with the order. The marinara dipping sauce is pretty good as well. The wait staff is friendly and busy. They seem to try to keep track of the customers at the front waiting for pick up orders. There are delays, however. In addition to waiting longer for my order, it took over five minutes to pay for my order from when I first got to the register until I received the receipt. This was due to waiting for the manager. I give this place four stars for the food and service, but understand you may be here longer then you expect. More...

Great Italian food. Although the Greek spaghetti had a little too much pepper for my palette.

Everything is delicious, especially the Greek salad. It's the best salad I've had, hands down. Greens always perfectly crisp and fresh, plenty of "the good parts" (feta cheese, kalmata olives, mmmmmmm...) and the dressing is BOMB.

Wow! That was some great food! The only negatives were that I paid online through Slice and that was not written on my order so they started to charge me again. Also, grease from the box my wife's food was in, transferred to her shirt while she was carrying my food. But the food, wow, it was great! More...
