Went for my grandmother's Birthday, great service, and too much good food. Between my brother's Pork burrito, Taco Carnitas for her, a Chicken enchilada for myself, and an appetizer Combo plate for the 4 of us, we left stuffed. Plaza Garcia beats out Ixtapa, Mazatlan, and Azteca any day of the week, though to clarify I mean the restaurants, not the cities. The food is very good here and I would definitely recommend it, the Pollo a la crema is especially good. Parking lot is small and there is minimal seating so it can get very busy with a long wait sometimes. However, they offer takeout and delivery via doordash, so make use of that. More...

My husband's and I favorite Mexican restaurant in king county!Their sizzling Fajitas are so damn good and so are their margaritas! Great place for a date night or for lunch/dinner with family. We've been there 3 times. The last time we went there, we had 2 kids with us and we had a great time. No place better that I know of in upper Kirkland to get great Mexican food.Only complaint I have is that the staff rotates so often it is hard to know what you might get for service. We decided to celebrate Cinco de Mayo here after reading various positive reviews for this restaurant.We weren't disappointed. The food was pretty darn good. One, they have bottles of El Yucateo habanero sauce on the tables, a huge positive for me. That's not a condiment I see often outside of Tex Mex restaurants in Texas. The queso rocked, chips were tasty, and our entrees were yummy. The Al Pastor beef in the burrito were flavorful and the Chalupas were delicious, the shell fried to a beautiful crisp.The staff here were incredibly friendly and cheerful. This is one of our favorite spots to come. Great Mexican food with even better service. The people have been working there for years and you can tell it's a true family style restaurant which makes dining a lot better. It all begins with chips, salsa and their amazing pico de gallo. From there you can't go wrong with choosing anything on the menu. The fajitas are great same with the Mexican pizza, nachos, enchiladas you name it we have probably tried it and loved it all! Their drinks are great too, the Cadillac margarita is always a classic or you could try the coronita margarita or a sunset margarita with the muddled fruit.
