I had an amazing time working with Chef A. She was extremely flexible on any changes I made, and with a very tight booking schedule she made it work. The food exceeded all expectations I had. Words cannot express my appreciation for Chef Ariel. She was literally the highlight of my husband's birthday. In this quartine life, I wanted not to do just another restaurant carry out for his milestone birthday, but something special to make him smile. When I started the search, I knew that the menu and personality of the chef were paramount. Chef A was very responsive, kind, and professional. When I said that my husband is a "steak and potatoes" kind of guy, she crafted the perfect menu! I am not impressed with foo foo tiny plates, so I knew that Chef A was the chef for our celebration because the food was plentiful and delicious! The only thing that I can say is to order extra!! This one-woman operation was efficient, professional, knowledgeable, and very economical. At the end of my event, everyone wanted her contact info. Her prices aren't much more than going out to a restaurant, and the food was fantastic. The appetizers, main course, fresh rum punch, and dessert were all well received. From a server to bartender to a personal chef, her story is an inspiration to all. Our menu had a Caribbean theme and was fresh, colorful, and didn't weigh me down even though I ate EVERYTHING.
The only things missing were the sand, sun, and tropical breeze. From the consultation to the clean up was nothing short of amazing. I would hire The Platinum Private Chef again in a heartbeat.

We had so a good time we didn't even get a chance to take pictures of the beautiful personal touches from the menu, rum punch, appetizers, which all were her excellent recommendations

I can't say enough great things about the experience besides keep up the great work.

Chef A did a wonderful job on our birthday dinner. She was receptive, when I mentioned items my husband did not eat and this did not compromise the flavor of the dishes at all. She was professional at all times and thoroughly cleaned throughout the process (this was reassuring due to COVID). The food (appetizers, dinner, dessert) and cocktails were very good and my husband did end up eating items he has never tried (or told himself he wouldn't like lol) and enjoyed every bite. Ariel was our private chef as a surprise to my husband for our first anniversary dinner, and she EXCEEDED ALL OF MY EXPECTATIONS. The food was delicious, she came prepared with proper PPE, and cleaned my kitchen when she was done! I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. She crafted a beautiful menu based off my husband’s favorite things, she printed a really cute menu and gave me the wine needed for a pairing. We will definitely be hiring her again! It used to be these tender, mouth-watering red wine braised short ribs. But, since I’ve been transitioning into a vegan lifestyle, that is no longer the case. Now I’m discovering what my specialty is in the vegan world.

First I find out if they have any food allergies and/or intolerances. Next I ask what food(s) they simply don’t like or aren’t a fan of. The next step is to ask what type of cuisines they like and/or are interested in trying. From there, I then brainstorm a few different ideas and then let the client make the final decision.

I love to see my client’s reactions to my food by their sounds and body movements.

I also love to experience that there’s so many people out here that love their partners and/or families so much that they just want to show their love and appreciation by doing something so thoughtful.

COVID-19! I had worked in the restaurant industry since I had a work permit a 15. Once COVID-19 came and the restaurants slowly started to open back…I new then that I had had enough. I loved serving others and bringing a smile to their faces, but I could no longer take all the blatant disrespect, low pay, mediocre food or toxic work environment. I decided it was time for me to make my own rules.

I have plenty of past clients who have wrote amazing things about not only my food but me as well on various different platforms.

I can provide cooking classes remotely, but this isn’t something I advertise just yet. So, a phone call would need to take place to discuss possibilities.

To keep my clients safe from COVID-19 I always wear my mask and gloves, I disinfect the countertops before I leave and I ask that guests don’t congregate in the kitchen while the food is being prepared.

Chef A will come in and prepare a 3 or 4 course meal of your choosing for you and your guests.
