The folks who own this little place are pleasant as can be, and their venue is absolutely spotless.I'd never been in before, but went in the other day with one of my staff members. (It was lunchtime, and I turn into a bear when I've not eaten lunch as needed. Look out, Loretta, and bar the door, Katy. I turn into a total hangry BITCH FROM HELL.)I ordered the basic gyros basket per my friend's suggestion, and was glad I did.The pita bread was soft and warm, and both the meat inside and the yogurt sauce atop were simply perfect together.My order came out quickly.It featured French fries and a canned soda, and all for the princely sum of $6.99 plus tax. (Not bad at all for a quickie lunch!)Don't expect ambience, no. (It's clean and attractive inside, but anything but fancy-schmancy. A lot of this place's business is tied up in pizza delivery, and I'm not sure how much walk-in business it sees.)Parking is tight and close, so don't expect a huge lot or two out front.Five stars for what it is -- clean, basic, locally owned, and more than capable of feeding hangry lunch bitches. Work at St Anthony's and we order from here all the time! Â The menu is awesome and amazing. You would not think that a Pizza place would have Mexican food, Chicken, Â Gyro's and so many options. All the food is Excellent. Â The food is home made and only the best ingredients. Â They are open late and deliver and the service is great!Be sure and ask for Mony she is one of the owners and does a lot if not most of the preparing and cooking, she will take excellent care of you. Pizza Zone is my favorite late-night, last-minute pizza-gyro-salad place. I've used Yelp for delivery and I've called in several times. They usually arrive early and the staff is cordial. The actual restaurant seems cleanish compared to some other local pizza places, and they make renovations often to try to improve. Overall my experiences have been positive and I enjoy most of the food. Skip the onion rings, jalapeno poppers, the obv frozen stuff. Â Instead have a gyro with a garden salad or a pizza well done. Seriously yummy food and a lot of it in an order. My gyro was soft and pillowy pita perfection. Grilled chicken perfectly flavored and they actually paid attention when I asked for light sauce! The people that deliver are always well groomed, friendly, and usually makes sure I am happy with my food. This ajoins the Taco Nuevo place so they share a front door and register.  I ordered meat and a regular calzone for a carryout lunch.  Both were amazingly good.  It was a short wait, but  free Cox WiFi made it bearable.  There are other Italian meals, salads and sandwiches on the menu.  I will be back to try them out. I have ordered from here several times through the BeyondMenu app. The food always arrives quick and hot. I honestly don't know how they even have time to cook it and deliver it so fast. I have always received the correct order. I have ordered a lot of things and so far have liked everything. Pizza, pasta, sandwiches, gyros, salads... it's all good. My favorites are the pizza and pastas. The kids like the shrimp, fries and burgers. I haven't tried the Mexican food yet but some of my coworkers have and they liked it.Note: If you order through BeyondMenu or yelp the order goes direct to the restaurant. If you order through delivery services like Grubhub they order for you and have their own drivers which is probably why others complained about getting their food cold. More...

oh, hot damn, I have had about 6 gyros here in the last month..the wavy fries are excellent..THE CHICKEN WINGS..I always get plain. .daaaaaannnnggg, you gotta go git you some..they use cornstarch, like asian restaurants, it's a different type of crispy...done fresh, always too hot to eat, must let them cool....cold Pepsi in a can......haven't eaten the other food stuffs because I found PERFECTION in the way of gyros sandwiches and wings and fries...lots of cops eat here, too..so you know it's goodas a matter of fact, after my mission of mercy tonight, I'm going in and get onethey are as good as the ones in Astoria, Queens..seriously.DEELISH! Holy wow! I ordered a Margherita pizza and it was fantastic! It had double mozzarella cheese, fresh basil and amazing tomatoes! In addition the crust is perfect! Not too thin and not thick, crunchy, doughy and perfect all in one. I ordered this late at night for delivery, it was fast and hot! Called last night 15 minutes before closing (traveling cross country by vehicle) & the order taker was happy to take my order. I asked for a well done pizza with extra cheese & extra pepperoni, it was excellent !! The pizza cook did a great job & the cashier/order taker was extremely nice , I recommend this place More...
