Today we headed out to the Montgomery County Farm Tour.  We got a bonus at Rockland's Farm Winery.  We arrived early and saw the wood-fired oven, but the food was not ready. . We went to 2 other places, but came back for the Pizza Brama Marguerita  Pizza...Boy, was it worth it.  Be sure to follow them at Rockland's or the Potomac Farm Market...We will be...(By the way, last night we had the highly-hyped pizza at Inferno Pizzaria Napolatono.  Brama pizza was superior to theres. I really like this pizza. I can recommend them as a high quality tasty pizza. They are almost the same as Inferno if you know Inferno.

If I could write an ode to how good this pizza is, I would. I first had it about 3 years ago when it set up its rotation at a winery we went to. I've ordered the same pizza every single time and just inhaled it. Still the best pizza in MD (IMO) Bc of everything. And from a mobile food truck no less that just has a mobile wood burning oven. I always get the S.P.O. It has fennel sausage, pickled peppers, red onions, tomato sauce, and mozzarella. They're meant to be individual size pizzas. The dough is cooked to perfection, with the perfect amount of char. The ingredients are locally sourced and always fresh. The pizza isn't too thin and not too thick. The ingredients are well balanced. If it were open at a regular shop and more conveniently located, I would go here so often. I dream about this pizza when I eat at other places. It's just that good. Trek out there if you can! More...

I was in the right place at the right time to be a verrrrrrrry early adopter of this pizza.  This is awesome pizza topped with the bounty of the Montgomery County Agricultural Reserve. Simple. Mike makes it look easy. What's good? Try all of the pizzas. What's on the menu changes, but one thing is consistent: Mike makes brilliant combinations of beautiful local ingredients and puts them on top of his wood-fired neapolitan pizza. The sides, too. Seasonal, like beets and carrots and tomatoes, done simply and just right. And sometimes dessert! The peach tart? I mean, whoah. I'm not a dessert person, I like to have my sugar in the form of wine, please, but that was a really great plate of sweet local peach deliciousness. More...

Unbelievable wood fired pizza.  Perfectly baked crust.  Delicious flavors...especially the fennel sausage and mushrooms.  Cannot decide if the white pie we got (mushroom with sausage added) or the red pie (wiseguy) was better.  Definitely coming back. More...

We visited Pizza Brama at Rocklands Farm on a very warm October Saturday.  All of the pizzas on their menu sounded really tasty, but we chose the S. P.O pizza (crushed tomato, house-made fennel sausage, pickled bell pepper, roasted onion, fresh oregano, garlic, fresh mozzarella, grana padano cheese).  It cost about $15.75 for an 11" pie with 6 medium slices and made for a small lunch for two people.  The pizza was very nicely made with thin but moist crust, but I have to say that the flavors were not as bold as I expected given the ingredients list.  The farm has plenty of picnic table seating, but it can still get crowded on a nice day.  Bees were a bit of a nuisance while we were eating.  All in all, though, the pizza was good and the setting was lovely, so I will definitely try them again. Just find where they will be making pizza and go, pizzabrama.com.  I go to the Potomac Farmer's Market on Thursdays from 2:00-6:30.  You can even order them ahead online and pick up or eat at the market at the picnic table within the market.  Their pizza is awesome and they will also make you any pizza you want if you don't see one on their creative pizza menu!!I am alway happy when it's Thursday!Joyce More...

Have you been to Naples? And eaten famed Neapolitan pizza? If so, you've probably searched high and low for pizza places in the US of A that will transport your tastebuds back to that crazy Italian city. Thankfully, there seems to be a lot of love for making Neapolitan-styled pizza in the DC area, and Pizza Brama is, I have to say, one of the best pizzas we've ever had in this area. We've ordered pizza after pizza from Pizza Brama on our trips to Rocklands Farm (I mean, pairing wine with pizza, how can you go wrong?!), where they set up and dish out one delicious pie after another from their wood fired stove. Stick with the classic margherita, or go for more deluxe toppings like prosciutto or locally sourced sausage and mushrooms, or a pizza blanca. I believe pies start at about $11 and go up depending on what toppings you crave.Delicious. Go forth and devour! More...

We were up at Rocklands for a wine tasting and what goes better with nice crisp dry white wine... a craft brick oven pizza! ! We ordered the S.P.O. not sure what it stands for but we were in gastronomic heaven. If you like red peppers on your pizza you have to try their pickled peppers combined with the sausage, roasted red onion and the Granda Padano cheese in that thin slightly crisped crust you will think you have died and gone to Naples. This is real pizza the way it should be. They try to local source local ingredients like the saushage in the pizza and the staff is super polite. More...

Really enjoyed the Mushroom pizza at Rocklands Farm Winery yesterday. Pizza was perfect and the service was great. They do not take cash, only electronic payment, so make sure you bring a card.

What an awesome experience! Very friendly staff and a great set up! Fresh and high quality ingredients. The wood fire stove is pretty awesome; pizza is ready 90 seconds after they put it in. As a neat freak, I can really appreciate the fact that they keep everything clean and sanitized even though they're outdoors in all kinds of conditions. More...

Rave reviews.  Pizza worthy of going off your diet for again and again and again and again.  It's an OMG type of pizza.  More like an OMFG type of pizza.  Yes.  It's that good.  I now know what will be for dinner every Thursday for the foreseeable future.  I picked up pizza early because it was on my way but there is now a very real danger that there will be no pizza left for the rest of the family by the time they get home.  Their loss is my gain and it will be oh so worth it. Honestly, the best Neapolitan styled pizza's I've tasted anywhere. 2Amy's used to be my place but after having had his pizza's then going back to 2Amy's in DC, I've found Pizza Brama to be much more worth it. Price is very competitive and he supports local farms in the area. He's at Rocklands Farm on some weekends and he definitely knows his stuff. Try his mushroom pizza! I don't usually like mushrooms but these were out of this world. More...

So tasty and fresh! The enticing assortment of pizzas on the menu included two roasted eggplant specials in addition to the day to day local ingredient toppings which made it extra difficult to chose only two pies. We went with the margherita and fungi, and both were incredible! My mouth waters just thinking about the succulent garlic and mushroom medly on the fungi, and the fresh tomato sauce on the margherita was the best I've ever had. I could have eaten a bowl of sauce alone! The thin crusts were baked to perfection and the A+ service compliments the meal perfectly! Can't wait to come back to try the other delicious pizzas!
