We love Piston as our "go to" for eating out! Always a great experience and a lot of good food for reasonable prices. We no longer visit Colonial, Hollywood or Brooklawn due to over pricing, lack of simple food options and occasional poor service. Piston is the way to go!!

Mini Meals are delicious and very reasonably priced! There is more than enough food to be stuffed full! Dessert comes with it too!
My husband had the carrots and corn as his sides and I had green beans. I must say, they were the freshest vegetables I have ever had at a diner!!
We have been back a few times already! Haven’t had a bad meal yet!

Excellent diner.. i always get the french toast and its excellent. I am sure all their meals are good.. The prices are reasonable and food super good and the restaurant is really clean and nice and cozy and in an excellent part of town. . i am going to have to try it for dinner because their breakfast is so good i am sure the dinners are great too More...

I (the red shirt lady) was at the Piston Diner for a graduation celebration. The food was excellent...even the salad was delicious. The owner was funny and very personable! He came into the room and hung out for a while and gave us a tour of his kitchen. It was immaculate. I love the rice pudding and bread pudding equally...de-lish!! Sunday morning brunch with my family at Pistons is the highlight of my week. The stuffed French toast is truly what dreams are made of, with it’s stack of thick sweet bread, a delectable cream cheese filling (or if I’m lucky that week - Bavarian cream), and is pilled high with fresh strawberries and bananas. Ish isn’t JUST a Chef - he’s an artist. And at the end of the day the thing that I love the most about Pistons is that their food makes you smile and the service warms your soul. It’s not like your typical side of the road diner - they care. You walk through those doors and Dee knows your name - playfully asking where you’ve been. Mary Beth memorizes and knows your order before you even sit down. And Or makes sure to help ring you up, bringing a smile to your face before you exit those doors. It’s a home away from home for me and I know that as long as they keep feeding me (especially since I suck at cooking haha), I’ll keep walking through that door. Stopped by to pick up a take out Fathers Day dinner for my hubby who is in The Atrium in Woodbury. We shared a very good seafood platter. ......stuffed shrimp, stuffed scallop and stuffed flounder. Attended PhD Graduate Celebration this evening. Congratulations Rev. Dr. Leslie R Harrison. This was the first time I’ve dined at Piston Diner. The food (Chicken Marsala, Mashed Potatoes and String Beans) was delicious and the service was excellent (Thanks to the Servers and the Owner). Dessert was Rice Pudding with Whipped Cream...WOW!!!
