What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Great photographs require staging and planning with an instinct for how to capture at the right moment. You should have lead lines in your photographs and the subject or subjects should be dominant in the foreground and background. Depth of field and lighting are crucial, so choosing the right time of day, weather, and / or interior location will have an impact.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
How and when do you want this package delivered? What inspired you to seek out a professional? How can we help you to achieve your vision? What is the most important thing that you need to get from your investment? Have you taken the weather into consideration? Do we have a backup plan if the weather goes bad? Is there easy access to power outlets for interior lights? Do you need green screen? Are we capturing audio and video? Have you considered special settings like limousines and Air BNB locations that can be enjoyed after your shoot is completed?
What do you love most about your job?
The language of photography and videography is beautiful and timeless. There are trillions upon trillions of possible combinations, and each day brings something fresh.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I wasn't impressed with the lack of organization exhibited by other business owners and noticed a trend that my departments were always the core profit centers of their businesses.
Why should our clients choose you?
We are fair, well-educated, and prepare for every shoot with the individual in mind. It is our goal for each client to walk away feeling like they achieved their core objective, on time, and within the project scope.
Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
Consultations can take place online over Zoom or over the phone. We are able to drive to within 50 miles of Salt Lake City, but it does affect the final pricing. However, if I can schedule 2 or 3 clients in the same city on the same day, then discounts can be applied.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
My team always wears masks when working with the public, and everyone is vaccinated with Pfizer or Moderna. The moment that three shots are allowed, I will get another.
