What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
It's all about composition and posing. With the right visual + shape, any location, and lighting situation can make for a great photo.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
What is your level of comfort with posing? How much guided-instruction would you like to receive in-session? What kind of aesthetic are you going for?
What do you love most about your job?
I love telling stories through photos. Capturing authentic joy, love, and helping people make memories that they can carry with them forever is incredibly humbling.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I've grown up around entrepreneurial start-ups, and love supporting local businesses. For that reason, I've always appreciated the business, production side of being a creative person.
In-session posing coaching
My goal is to work not only for but with my clients. I provide a form before our meeting time that will ask about levels of comfortability with posing, taking instructions, and other preferences.
As we are in our session, I like to explain to my clients how and why I am choosing to shoot from certain angles or adjust my camera to a particular setting, so everyone is on the same page.
Full access to gallery after photoshoot
I like to provide my clients with full access to all of the photos taken during our session -- who knows, maybe you'll like one particular photo more later!
Edits on 30 photos of your choice
In addition to full access to all of the photos from our session, I'm offering full Adobe Photoshop/Lightroom edits on 30 photos of your choice.
Additional edits outside original 30 at a discounted price
If you realize later on down the line that you'd like additional editing done on more than the original 30, I will edit up to 20 more for a largely discounted rate.
Unlimited outfit changes and prop usage
If you have multiple outfits and props at your disposal, we can use them all!
Unlimited outdoor session locations
If we are shooting outdoors, I do not put a limit on the number of locations we use. If we are at a park, taking photos by a lake, but you and your significant other want to walk a few minutes away to a field, I'm game!
Studio shoots
I have a space available for studio-oriented shoots. I have multi-colored backdrops and seating available as well.
