Don't let the name PIGS fool you. We wanted a high-end catering experience for our daughter's wedding and PIGS more than delivered. Our plated event did not include their famous BBQ, we instead chose from PIGS Elegant Affair Menu and served Filet Mignon and salmon. From the first class service, to accommodating our every need, PIGS operated "5-stars" in every aspect. They were easy to work with in the planning and not one detail was missed. They are an Incredible value for any occasion and highly recommended. We have recommended PIGS to our friends and they are just as happy as we are. PIGS redefines full service catering. I can't thank the whole crew at PIGS for their hard work setting up our wedding and for the amazing people they have there working for them that made our wedding so wonderful! There are no words to describe how wonderful PIGS was on our wedding day! Over a year later, we still have our friends and family mentioning how amazing the food was. Aside from it being the best BBQ I have ever eaten (which says a lot, because I LOVE BBQ) - the customer service experience was more than I could have ever asked for. As a fairly OCD person, I went into the planning process being very concerned with vendor management. From day 1, Lisa and her team were nothing but accommodating.
Not only did they provide us with a thorough overview of pricing, custom menus, etc, but they also helped with coordination. The team that was onsite for our wedding day helped with set up, served food/drinks, and made sure that my husband and I had absolutely anything we needed (champagne, apps, etc).
I can safely say that without choosing PIGS, my wedding day would not have been the same. If you have ANY catering needs, love BBQ and appreciate an old school customer service experience - please give PIGS a call! More...

We had P.I.G.S. cater our wedding September 15, 2017 and we cannot thank them enough or recommend them. The food is absolutely amazing and so many of our guests commented on how nice it was to have comfort food at a wedding. We also had the S'more's bar which was a huge hit, if you like S'more's we would highly recommend! The staff and service was wonderful throughout our event, we had servers find us while we were out for pictures to offer drinks and appetizers since we weren't able to make it to cocktail hour and also came up to us throughout the night checking on us and asking if we needed everything. PIGS catered our wedding at Ostertag Vistas on 10/13/17 and we could not have been more satisfied! Everything was delicious, and the service was excellent. Guests came up to me the whole night with compliments about the food. They even made sure that the groom and I were able to eat at our buffet reception by bringing us a ready made plate right at the start of dinner! Out of all of our wedding vendors, I think P.I.G.S was our favorite. They were AMAZING!!! Our guests keep telling us it was the best wedding food they ever had. We had the pulled pork, smoked chicken, mac n cheese and a mashed potato bar (best decision ever). It wasn't just the food that was amazing, the service was out of this world; from the initial email conversations with Lisa, who was always responsive and helpful, to the tasting, all the way to the wedding day. During the cocktail hour and reception, Jimmy was basically our second wedding coordinator. He constantly made sure we had a drink in our hand, had some of the delicious appetizers (the chicken & waffles and tomato soup & grilled cheese are SO good) and he made sure we were taken care of the entire reception. My husband and I even got to enjoy to go boxes which we devoured after the wedding!! P.I.G.S is also highly professional and knows the wedding business, they were so organized and efficient with set up and breakdown. We never had to worry about a thing. We loved our wedding food so much that we will definitely be making a trip to their restaurant in Frederick, MD so we can enjoy their delicious food again. We stumbled upon P.I.G.S. catering during a wedding venue tour and after we set up our tasting we stopped looking. Lisa was so helpful and the tasting was above and beyond what we could have asked for. They were phenomenal when it came to set up day of. They handled the reservations of all our linens and really helped during cleanup. The staff day of made sure my new wife and I had everything we needed. Our guests the next day could not stop talking about how good the food was! Each new person we encountered had a different favorite part of the meal, and that's all you can really ask for. The food was incredible and the service was beyond amazing. Lisa was so accommodating with the last minute changes leading up the wedding (total headcount, number of vegetarian meals, total linen count). Kenneth and his team who worked the event did such a fantastic job. They made sure me and my groom were taken care of and provided amazing service to all of my guests. Lisa and her husband run an amazing business. After living in South Carolina for 5 years, BBQ was a weekly part of my husband's diet, as well as mine. We had a hard time finding BBQ here in Maryland, until we did a tasting with PIGS. 3 words I would use to describe PIGS is ABSOLUTELY FREAKING AMAZING.

Lisa and her crew are amazing. At our daughter’s wedding they saw to all the details that made our reception perfect. Their delicious “home cooked” food was served efficiently, the tables set up beautifully, and their clean up left the property a bit cleaner than when they arrived. They worked smoothly as a unified team. The team captain (Megan) was very receptive to any questions or tasks we asked of her. From set up to taking care of the trash, they did it all. The food itself was the best catered food I have had. Everything was flavorful and fresh. Do not miss the collards or the chicken! And there was not a crumb of corn bread leftover. I would not hesitate to recommend PIGS BBQ for any event, and I would use them again given the opportunity. Really good food, huge portions.
Lived 3 minutes away for 4 years and just found this place. I got, easily, 4 times as much food from here than from Black Hog for the same price, and it tastes better.

Customer service was also great.

Almost every single one of my guests came up to tell me that we had the best wedding food they'd ever had. Everything was absolutely delicious. Not only that, I could not believe how wonderful the service was. I knew when I met Lisa at our tasting that we would be in good hands and that continued with Jimmy who made sure we had food all night, packed us a to-go box at the end of the night and just made us feel so relaxed. You're probably skeptical because this place is inside an indoor sports Arena, right? I was, too. But it's surprisingly amazing. We've been coming here for about six months and they have fantastic wings, especially the dry rubbed grilled wings. The smoked chicken salad sandwich is amazing, too.
