I do photography of all kinds. From family portraits to commercial advertisements, food and real estate. I started as a photojournalist in the 90's, got into product photography in the 2000's and now that I'm raising a family have added portraits to my repertoire.

Rob was a great photographer for my rental property. Photos came back in about 12 hours, the photos were great and prices were very fair. I'd use him again!

This was our first time working with Rob, but it won't be our last. Taking photos of artificial lighting under even more artificial lighting can be challenging, yet Rob took beautiful photos that demonstrated the true brilliance of our LED display. He is very responsive and easy to work. More...

Looking at Rob's work reminds me of why we hired a professional to photograph our wedding. Rob's photos do more then draw me into the story. .. they catch my attention and are fun to see. They are high impact photos that are clearly beyond the kinds of photos we see every day. I also know Rob is professional, ethical, and great to work with. I appreciate his care and concern for his client. More...

What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
if you are talking about portraits, then getting a real and natural smile is the key. If we are talking about product photography, then understanding what makes that product unique and finding a way to show that is the key.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
What goal are you trying to accomplish?
What message needs to be conveyed?
What feature needs to be shown?
What do you love most about your job?
Being creative, solving problems, and meeting new people.
What inspired you to start your own business?
How many photographers don't own their own business? Plus, I've been an entrepreneur since I was a teenager.
Why should our clients choose you?
Quality and reliability. I'm not a beginner who just bought a camera and is excited to find out what it can do. I've been doing this a long time and know how to get the results you want.
Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
I'm happy to photograph your products in my home studio if you ship them to me
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I have stopped having visitors to my home studio and have focused solely on products and real estate/architecture this year. The few portraits I have done have been outside only, except for my family...
Product Photos
You’ve worked hard to perfect your product and now it’s time to show it to the world. It’s important to show it clearly with photos that reflect the quality of your product and show the features that differentiate it from the competition.
For 10 years, I worked as a photographer for mail order and e-commerce companies and I honed my product photography skills, including the ability to shoot the “invisible man” mannequin with spandex bike shorts!
Product photography is one of my passions. I love to tweak the lighting until it is just right to make the viewer go “wow”! I am also very adept at showing the features of a product so that a consumer can tell how it works and if it is right for their needs.
I can shoot and light in a variety of styles to match your branding and as a former Art Director at a $2-Billion/year retailer, I can also help you define what your visual branding should be if you haven’t already done that.
If you have products that you need photographed, please contact me as I’d love to help you showcase the products you have worked so hard at developing.
