I cannot say enough about Dr. Tetlow. She has cared for my family of seven for five years. My family is three generations so there is a variety of issues that Dr. Tetlow has helped us navigate including food allergies, gut health, cardiovascular health, stroke prevention, muscular and skeletal support, hormone support, antiviral support, antibacterial support, weight gain, loss, and maintenance, methylation support, Lyme Disease, and more! Dr. Tetlow empowers her patients by teaching them. She provides resources during appointments and is accessible through the portal for questions and feedback. In addition, Dr. Tetlow offers presentations on topics of interest for her patients. I have had the privilege of attending a few of the presentations and the amount of time, effort, and information that goes into the presentation is unbelievable. After six pregnancies over the past 17+ years, with five children (one of whom is medically fragile herself due to a rare neurogenetic disorder, Angelman syndrome), I have really put my own health on the back-burner for far too many years. I am SO thankful to have found this practice to help me optimize my health, hopefully prevent disease, and otherwise be as well as I can be. I appreciated the quick and comprehensive testing (including a micronutrient panel), as well as a plan for exercise, stress-management, and appropriate and targeted supplements (including my beloved adaptogen Ashwaghanda!) designed to meet my specific needs. Further, my husband has spent over the past decade trying to get to the bottom of his health problems only to have them continue to get worse. We highly suspected coeliac disase (which has now been confirmed), yet repeatedly received tests with false negatives and terrible advice. After only two months with this practice, my husband has an in depth view of his microbiome and nutritional status, among other things, and has confirmed coeliac disase (and a plan for that). He's already 100x more healthy (mentally, emotionally, and physically) after only two months, thanks to the supplements and guidance he has received, and we can't wait to see how he feels in 6 months from now. To sum up: The way a doctor's care should be. We came to PIM per recommendation from my acupuncturist and fertility doctor. When my fertility doctor couldn't find any reasons for the multiple pregnancy losses we experienced, I asked for a referral to more natural providers, who look for the root cause deeper than the typical practice. I had my free 20 min consultation with Dr. Tetlow over the phone and could tell right away this practice was right up my alley. They look for the root cause to treat, not just the symptoms, and utilize a combination of diet, exercise, acupuncture, and other natural lifestyle methods to help their clients. They can prescribe drugs if need be, but as a last resort, instead of first choice. We worked with Lauren Houser, who specializes in fertility and loved our experience. She asked us to complete thorough medical histories and I could tell she prepared for our first appointment by reviewing it in advance, which was very helpful, as she already had a plan of action ready. She is super friendly, compassionate and knowledgeable on this subject. I also appreciated that she had us conduct different tests in stages to see where the road leads and to be conscious of the financial costs associated with each. She found a combination of factors that could have affected our prior pregnancies and gave us a course of action to prepare for our next try. While we aren't sure which of these factors or a combination caused prior losses, I'm happy to say that we welcomed our baby girl this past August. Lauren was very supportive throughout the pregnancy and coordinated with my other providers well to ensure everyone was on the same page.I strongly recommend Lauren for fertility cases and the practice overall for any health needs. I've been raving about their care to my friends and family and finally made the time to write this review.While their per appointment costs are higher than average, they are really worth it. I could tell Lauren prepped well before we came in, then she spent over an hour with us (that's right, folks, when was the last time you spent an hour talking with your provider about a custom plan for your health!?), and about 30 minutes during follow ups. In just three appointments we had completed our testing, reviewed results and decided on a plan of action to follow. Plus, she was responsive to my questions via e-mail in between appointments. All in all, the time she spent was well worth the cost and I plan to go to PIM for any other health needs.Thank you, Lauren, and the PIM team for your wonderful help and support. Before seeing Dr. Tetlow I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis and being treated with heavy duty injectible medication. After working with her I was able to go off any medications entirely. Over time I became symptom free and my blood work continued to improve until there was no longer any signs of R.A. The difference in my life is over the top. This was the first health practitioner that looked at me as a whole, not just a symptom. I have learned what is good for me overall, especially food and short falls in my own body's use of those foods. Dr. Tetlow is amazing. I started seeing her due to gallbladder issues. She helped me through the process of not only dealing with my gallbladder, but taking a look at the root causes of my health problems. I have not felt this well in years. Last year I referred 3 of my clients from The Center Of Success in Wayne to PIM. Each one has reported that seeing Georgia made a huge difference in her life. A close friend also sees Georgia. She had a blood test that indicated a surprising food allergy.
