I had my hair completely ruined when a novice stylist over-processed on a coloring visit. Carissa spent time explaining why my original request for a Brazilian Blowout would not achieve the results I was looking for. She offered me options and after I was finished she had achieved a dramatic improvement in the texture and stylability of my hair. I was floored by the results. As an added bonus, because her products contained light, natural fragrance, I was not plagued by headaches when using them. This is my second time at the salon and both stylists did a fantastic job!!! I could not be happier!!! Carissa truly worked magic today and knew exactly how to cut, color, and style my naturally curly hair. Carissa is amazing. I have never felt so comfortable. I enjoyed great conversation with Carissa while getting my hair done and not a moments hesitation when I called a few days later for a "tweek" of my new style. The owner of the salon rules, I would trust her with my hair and my life. I’ve been with Carissa for many years and will continue to watch her empire grow forever. Sephi is the place to go if you are like me and want great or fun hair but have no idea what to do or how to get it. These ladies are young, imaginative and fun! However they can definitely accommodate a conservative type too.
They will give you recommendations but always listen to your ideas. They are open and honest too, if I show them a hair style that won't actually work with my hair, or wouldn't look good with my face shape, they will let me know and also show me how to alter it just a little so it will work for me.
Best of all, they won't drain your bank account!!

This salon is on a mission! What drove me to have my hair cut and styled at Selphi was there community outreach. Selphi donated their time and talents by cutting hair for a local organization called Jasmyn. That meant a lot to me and personally I would rather spend money with a local business, especially a business that builds into the community. The Salon is beautiful and unique. My experience was just as Beautiful and unique. Amber was my stylist and I have never had such an amazing experience as I did with her. She really took the time to learn my hair to cut and style a masterpiece. Not only did she learn my hair, but she taught and showed me how to better manage my hair to get the results that I’m looking for. The next day, after being washed and dried, I got the exact result I was looking for. I am truly satisfied with my experience and I will continue to have my hair cut and styled with Amber at Selphi. One last note that I think is worth mentioning, while I was there, Amber expressed her love for her job, and how fulfilled she feels with not only the time they donate to the community but the eco products they use and sell. I had not been in a salon since June 2015 because every experience was terrible. Not one of the stylists I had seen was willing to take the time and listen to what I really wanted.
That all changed with Carissa. I have never had someone ask me what I liked and disliked about my hair. She asked what my profession was as to make sure whatever style I wore, it would be appropriate. Carissa understood that when I said, "short is scary," that short to me meant any length above my shoulders. She truly listened to what I wanted and explained the whole process to me.
The whole experience was excellent from start to finish. I was never concerned with what going on and once the actual cutting of my hair started, there was not the normal sense of panic. I love the color and the style! And bonus that they are an eco friendly salon!

My hair was in desperate need of help but I wasn't completely sure of how to fix it. I met with Julya today and she was able to figure out exactly what I wanted/needed and proved that she is incredibly talented. I couldn't stop smiling afterward.

Christiana M. does such a great job cutting my hair and she is very friendly & fun. I have seen the quality of her styling, trimming and coloring on others and it is incredible.
