Petro's Chili & Chips

The food was sloppy, thrown together, and had none of the condiments that were stated per the menu. The chicken nachos were all broken chips, barely any cheese, no condiments, and so much sour cream. The baked potato with chicken was missing the requested bbq sauce. The chili just had globs of sour cream and some melted cheese. We love the chicken potato. It is never dry like other restaurants serving loaded potato. We now have to drive to Southern Pines, a long trip for a potato, but well worth it. Just tried a Petro for my first time today! What a treat. The bowl of chili and chips comes LOADED and tastes amazing. YUM! The staff was very friendly and the restaurant was quite tidy. Petro's Chili and Chips catered a lunch for us. I spoke with Danielle, their Catering Director. She made the process simple and straightforward. She answered all of my questions quickly and thoroughly. She provided details of what was included. She made ordering through Petro's Chili and Chips easy. The day of the lunch, Danielle and her team came in to set everything up. There was so much delicious food. The potatoes are massive. The chili was plentiful. The variety of condiments was enough to impress even the pickiest eaters. Everyone I talked to thoroughly enjoyed the potatoes, and the chili. They were happy with the variety. My church used Petro's for a recent event. Many of our members were not familiar with Petro's. Well, everyone loved the chili and baked potatoes! This place is awesome! Everything (except for the hot dogs) can be made vegan! I had the chili and it was really good. The medium size is pretty big, I couldn't imagine having a large. They have the chewable ice and Texas Pete hot sauce which was the icing on the cake! I'd rate it 5 stars if they had veggie dogs.
