What a chic salon! Cute dog chairs, a photo booth, and open stalls to keep your pups in while they wait for their turn/parents. It was easy to book an appointment at Pet Purrspective and prices are reasonable. Matti did such a great job to make Mabel feel safe and comfortable during our visit.  This positive experience was extremely important for Mabel, as she's a puppy and not used to going to the groomers.  My dog was super excited to be around Matti and I can't wait to take her back. We are so lucky that this groomer opened up within walking distance from our home! Our experience with Matti grooming our two dogs could not have been better. I VERY HIGHLY recommend!!!! We have a 20 lb Poodle-mix and a 10lb Moorkie. Both were way overdue for a trim. When we picked them up, they were happy and smelling and looking great. Thank you!!!!We have taken our babies to several other groomers in the Hollywood/West Hollywood area and this has been the best experience. Don't let the location fool you. At two other places, our doggies came out traumatized. Another was way overpriced. More important than the cut is how our dogs are treated and Matti's experience is obvious. But.... their cuts were amazing! We gave very little direction and our babies are now cuter than ever. More...

Let me tell you: THIS IS THE ONLY PLACE TO GO IN LA FOR YOUR PET! I would never take my little Butler (cat, not human Butler) anywhere else. Matti really, really loves animals and has a very natural, caring approach with them. Butler hates having his nail caps put on but Matti does it with such ease, and is able to soothe him when he complains. I was going somewhere else but then got recommended to Matti's place and I've never looked back. She's clawsome! More...

So happy I can be the first to review Matti's new business! My pup has been getting his grooming done by her for a few years now, and he always looks and smells amazing when I pick him up. If you are considering coming here for the first time and are not already a returning customer, don't let the lack of reviews deter you - she is a pro! Communication is always super easy, and her new location has tons of free 90 minute parking! (It's that big strip mall type parking lot just down from Hollywood Forever.) Matti has been Flea's groomer since 2012, And I can't say enough praise about how wonderful she has been with my little guy! Not only does she do a wonderful job, but she is so very caring and loving with all the babies! And Flea absolutely adores her! After searching and searching for the perfect groomer for my Golden Doodle Cielo, I am SOOO HAPPY and BLESSED that I came across Matti. She is very passionate on what does and is someone you can trust with your furbaby. The attention to detail for my pup was amazing! Cielo had a previous vet shave from an ER visit and she managed to blend it very well. The cherry on top of our visit was a fun before and after video and pictures she took of the whole process. Matti has groomed 2 of my dogs now and I am beyond grateful to have such a caring and gifted groomer.  I have never had a groomer who is this gentle and effective.  She has a way with animals and it makes the whole experience better for both myself and my pup.  I can't recommend her enough.  Dogs deserve the best and with Matti you get the BEST! Best groomer ever! While on a walk,  I spotted a stunning grey standard poodle. OK, I know nothing about poodles, standard or non-, but felt compelled to ask the owner who was the gifted groomer? "Matti!" she replied and gave me a number. I didn't even have a dog, having recently lost my pup, but kept Matti's info. Months later  a friend in Florida gifted me with a 2-year-old Pekingese she could no longer keep. Rabbit (the dog) arrived in LA after a 3-day car ride, looking like a beautiful mess. Her hair was long and falling out, forcing me to  vacuum my home 90 minutes daily just to breathe. Then I remembered Matti.  When we met at Pet Purrspective, Matti instantly bonded with Rabbit. She also suggested a brush that saved Rabbit's coat and my sinuses. Later when I picked up Rabbit, she'd transformed into Jessica Rabbit! Matti even created the most awesome and hilarious video of Rabbit's grooming experience. Can't recommend her enough. More...
