Update: 9/1/21It's been about 28 months and I'm still training with Charles 3 times per week. I went from never having deadlifted to pulling 501. 6lbs at a meet last month (while dealing with a completely torn quad from baseball). 600 is in the bomb sights! More...

I recently finished my first powerlifting competition and wanted to share the experience as well as update my last review. I was out of the gym for almost a year during COVID due to a herniated disc. Charles kept pushing to get me back in the gym, but I was nervous it would make things worst. My chiro and orthopedic doctor both told me to stop weight lifting.Eventually I got back to the gym and started training with Charles a few days a week. He built out a regime that allowed me to gain more core strength and stability. My back has never felt better and I've never felt stronger. After 6 consistent months of training, Charles convinced me to get into my first powerlifting competition. Deadlift: 315lbs / Squat: 226lbs / Bench: 135lbs. For reference, I'm 138lbs and 5'1. If you're looking to lose body fat or gain muscle or learn technique, Charles is your guy! He really knows his stuff and doesn't half-ass your workouts. He's super knowledgeable. Don't take my word for it, reach out to him directly and schedule a consult to learn more! More...

I don't usually write reviews, but I feel inspired to write this for Eileen because she has been so amazing. After having gone through five personal trainers in 10 years, I finally found Eileen. And yes, after two years she is still my trainer. Here's why: FOCUS & DEDICATION: she is VERY focused when training in a session. Instead of looking/playing on her cell phone or talking with other people, her eyes are on you at all times. She does not miss much! PROFESSIONALISM: For all the exercises, she is adamant about maintaining proper form in order to minimize injuries. She explains how and why you are doing the exercises, what part of your body to use, and how you will benefit. I love how she explains and dissects each of the exercises. Her communication style is detailed but also so clear that anyone, even a child, can understand. ENCOURAGEMENT: She is genuinely happy for you when you reach your goals! I love how encouraging she is during all of our sessions. She makes me never want to give up!FUN: Even when you are grunting during the workout, she may sing or dance on the side to cheer you up.EQUIPMENT: FIT SF is an immaculately clean facility. All equipment is spot cleaned and disinfected throughout the day. They also have a wide array of state of the art equipment that is constantly updated and modified. ONLINE CLASSES: Eileen now offers 4 classes a week online. Along with the in-person training, I absolutely love her online classes. They are challenging, so you can expect to sweat a lot. You can check them out at litfitstrong.com. RESULTS: The bottom line when you work with Eileen, you get the results you are aiming for. At the end of the day, it's all about real results. More...
