What do you love most about your job?
When I get an emotional response from a client, I know that I've made good on my promise to show them in the best light. Capturing the apparent and the hidden beauty in our lives in the printed, digital, and hybrid forms is my passion and it shows in the experience I provide during and after the session.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I want to show ordinary people how special they are. I want them to be able to look at themselves on a wall and reflect, but absent a mirror.
Why should our clients choose you?
The difference between me and other photographers: I am offering a mid-to-premium experience at a fraction of the cost. You will get at least one print (not just downloads). The print and matting (yes matting) is from Finao fine arts. Not just a guy with a camera hoping to turn a buck. I pose you, I light you, and we make art.
Mini-Portrait Session (starts at $250)
You’ll have my professional and artistic services which include a pre-session conversation and 45 minutes of photography at my home studio in Clarksburg, MD using carefully controlled light.
72 hours after the photo session, I will email you a link to your gallery containing the five images you selected during the photo shoot. All images will receive a basic retouch.
Storytelling in Print (starts at $550)
This package includes one hour of photography at my home studio in Clarksburg, or a location or your choice (indoor or outdoor) within 50 miles. We start with a pre-session consultation to make sure we get the vision for the session right, and then get to work! You can have as many wardrobe and background changes as you like. This is where we have lots of space to be creative and make fine art portraits. Backgrounds, bubbles, smoke machines... our imaginations are the limit.
Two weeks after the photo session, I will email you a link to a secure gallery to download your images at 1500px (on the long edge). This 60-minute session yields 15-18 high-end images and all images will receive a detailed retouch. Please note that my basic retouches rival the best work of my peers; and my detailed retouches would be considered suitable for publication in a medium market magazine. The package includes a set of 4x6 proof prints and one matted 8x10 print.
Engagement Session (starts at $1000)
The engagement session involves a pre-session planning (zoom, phone, email, etc.) to ensure we tell your story the way it should be told. The photo session lasts about three hours at 2-three locations and it’s a fun-filled imaging with me and a lighting assistant.
Two weeks after the photo session, I will email you a link of 40-50 images at 1500px (on the long edge). All images will receive a detailed retouch. Please note that my basic retouches rival the best work of my peers; and my detailed retouches would be considered suitable for publication in a medium market magazine. You will also receive a set of 4x6 proof prints, two 11x14 prints, and two 8x10 prints.
Your package also includes a bonus PbyT Hybrid Experience, which combines your printed image with a digital memory. You have to see it with your own eyes, and no other photographer in this area offers it. I make it a point to give my clients prints so that they can experience that, and there's nothing like holding a picture in your hand and seeing it come to life.
High-End Glamor Session :Filled with Bonuses ($2500)
Professional hair and makeup: check. Milk bath, fog machine, or other special effects: check. Lighting assistant: check.
This package is those who know my ability and want the best discount. In addition to the add-ons of the engagement package, you will receive a ultra-premium 24-sided photo album, ten 8x10 prints with a leather folio box, and four 11x14s. All prints will be matted using Seldex matting from Finao fine arts. Of course, all images will undergo the fashion detail retouch (the only package that offers this included). You will have never seen yourself so beautiful. One of the main reasons I give so many prints at this package is that clients end up sending many of them off to friends for bragging rights.
You are every bit worth it.
