We LOVED this party bus!!! Â We had such a great time. Â Mad Dog our driver, he was awesome! Â He was on time, very helpful, fun and nice! Â The bus is clean and in great shape. Â The rates are really reasonable. Â We did the pick-up / drop-off option which was perfect for our group, and very affordable. Â We came from Isle of Palms and got dropped off in downtown Charleston. Â This was the most economical (AND MOST FUN) transportation option available from the beach, hands down! Â If you are staying at the beach with a group, I highly recommend taking this party bus to get you downtown - taxis and ubers will cost more and be way less fun! You can connect to the speakers via blue tooth so you can party to your own music. The rules and laws of Charleston were clearly outlined, which was appreciated as tourists. Â Also, the rules of the bus were very clear so we knew what not to mess with - some buses will let you find that out the hard way so they can charge you huge fees at the end. Â We knew up front what was OK and not OK. Â A little more about cost - again very reasonable. Â Gratuity was built into our grand total and openly discussed between our main party coordinator and Mad Dog so the expectation was clear. Â No one felt pressured to tip extra, we all knew the cost and there were no surprises at the end. Â That's a very nice feature of a party bus. Â Tipping is a wonderful thing but it can be very awkward if it isn't clear what is expected, covered, not covered, etc.OH YEAH... We used Party Bus Charleston to transport a large group this past Halloween Weekend.We had a group of 20+ and there aren't many companies who have buses that fit that many. We also booked for an hour only. Lots of companies have 3-hour minimums so this was another selling point. Our bus fit 26 and it was really nice. It cost $250 for the hour which was significantly less than others.The reservation process was simple and Nick was super responsive and quick to answer my questions prior to booking. Mad Dog was our driver. He showed up on time and was a lot of fun. I have to admit I was skeptical of the company because their Yelp reviews sure aren't glowing. We rented for our wedding party transportation from ceremony to photo location to reception. Our driver was friendly, had the bus ready with ice in the coolers and even stated she'd clean up our cans so we did not have to worry about trash. She kept us safe with her driving, kept the music at the right noise level, and was hospitable. We used Party Bus Charleston for multiple trips during our wedding weekend. They drove us to the Firefly distillery during the week before the wedding, provided transportation for the wedding party before the ceremony, and provided transportation for all guests to the hotel and downtown after the reception. They were beyond flexible in helping us customize timing and routes. Unlike most other companies they were available by the hour as opposed to requiring a minimum number of hours.
