Palma Pizza

A well-crafted pizza. This NY-style pizza is perfect. The sauce has so much flavor.  There's just enough cheese to where you don't have to order extra but it's still not all mucked up with too much cheese. The crust is very special. I'm not sure if I ever had such a tasty crust like this in my life. The aroma of this crust is insane. It has such a delicious homemade smell.  The owner has a super pleasant personality. I appreciate his passion for his craft very much. Since moving to Palm Beach county, we have tried several pizza joints of course, but this place is the winner without question. Ordered a Chicago style pizza, the gentleman who delivered was very friendly and appreciative. Explained that they did not cut the pie as they wanted to give it time to set which says to me they care about how their food arrives to their customers. I ordered the thin New York style pizza. It was fantastic! I also ordered the calamari and the Ghirardelli brownie. I think they should look into getting a better calamari because I felt like I just bought that straight out of the frozen food section at Winn-Dixie, at a higher price. The brownie was very rich, and I couldn't even finish it. The delivery person from GrubHub was amazing, on time, and the nicest person. This was definitely a good experience. Courteous and friendly service! The food was hot and delicious. We got the Chicago style deep dish pizza which takes awhile to make, so we waited about 45 minutes, but it was worth it! I would go again!

Stopped in at Palma Pizza on our way home to Miami for a weekday lunch.  We ordered 6 garlic knots and a small thin crust cheese pizza.  The garlic knots were just like I like them - garlicky, oily, and super yummy!  Pizza was NY style thin crust.  The sauce was good, not too salty.  For our pizza, garlic knots, and a soda, our total was well under $20.  Service was great.  I don't know how often we will be in the area, but if we are, we will definitely stop in again. Pizza was alright. I loved the sauce but I wish the Italian sausage where either sliced or larger pieces. The pricing was also good considering the other alternatives in the area. So for a few years I've been hearing about this deep dish pizza. Plus I wanted to try the food as well. Tonight I took a shot at it. Chicken Philly was very good. I got the meatball parmesan sub. It was ok I didn't like the bread at all. I recommend regular Italian bread. The meatballs were ok but there's room for improvement. Now the deep dish... First off its a beast of a pizza. If your a cheese lover this is for you. Sauce was great. Overall I'm definitely satisfied with this. Very thin crust which in my personal opinion could be a little thicker just to hold it all together. But like I said very good. I'm born and raised in Brooklyn New York. I'm Italian and know my Italian food. I'm looking forward to trying some of the dinner entrees which are very reasonably priced. Definitely gonna remain a customer so far. The Sicilian pizza crust is A-mazing!  It has a slight hint of yeast, it is thick, crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The pizza had not too much sauce, a good balance of cheese and the other ingredients could have been a little more plentiful. The zeppoli's were warm and sweet, just like they should be!  The garlic knots....oh,the garlic knots. I was really looking forward to these after reading some of the reviews on how great they are. I wasn't impressed and wished we would have ordered the garlic bread or even the cheese bread. The garlic knots were very dry and did not have much flavor, except for the one bite where the garlic was. We also,had an antipasto salad which was fresh and quite beautifully put together. This place has the best pizza in PB County and BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE in FL!!! You will not be disappointed!! We always order pizza from these guys and they never failed us. However one day we got our pizza and it wasn't what we were used to, crust was a little floppy and pizza was just too sloppy. We called up and told them what happened. They apologized and offered to send another pizza but we declined because it was too late, they were kinds enough to put us down for a free pizza for next time. A few days later we took them up on their offer and they sent the perfect pizza up with the owner himself. He was very kind, apologize and EVEN THREW IN FREE DESSERT! Great job guys!! Wanted to try a Chicago pie down here in Florida, we go to Indiana during the summer and have our favorite place to get our Chicago pie fix and love going back to geannetto's in south bend, but we needed a place here in west Palm Beach, and we found it not only to get our Chicago pie fix but our pizza fix as well, ordered a Chicago 45 minutes in advance as stated on their menu, part of the reason that they are getting 4 stars and not 5 is the pie was not ready due to the original pie sticking to the pan Waited another 45 minutes, by then our friends had just about finished the NY style pizza they ordered ( which they loved). The Chicago finally came and it was worth the wait and I'm sure this is not a normal occurrence, the other reason for 4 and not 5 stars is if we compare geannetto's prices for the  same pie Palma Pizza is a more pricey, but this is Florida not Indiana , the fact is both places serve a delicious Chicago pie, oh by the way the people and the service were excellent. Wow wow wow!!! We came in this restaurant just off the road because we're not local (with help from Zelp) and let me say: "Mind. ..Blown!" We got a pizza with 1/2 cheese and 1/2 pep, shroom, ham, spinach and omg so delish.  The dough was just the perfect amount of crisp and softness, cooked to perfection.
