I absolutely recommend hiring Palette Architecture. They are so wonderful! We have worked with them twice and could not be happier. We first worked with them on a smaller/simpler project of opening up our main floor. Our most recent project was converting our 2 family row house into a single, which meant nearly gutting the entire second floor of our house (while living there). We removed a kitchen, added a bathroom, created a new master bedroom with a custom walk thru closet, added sky lights, reinforced the roof to create a rooftop deck, added a staircase to the roof and redesigned the front door/windows/lights.
We worked most closely with Jeff Wandersman, he is the best. Jeff and his team (we also worked closely with Aditi Shetye - love her) took our ideas for the renovation and created something far better than we could have ever imagined!! They were patient, kind, responsive and enthusiastic throughout the entire project. They took care of everything from the design, permit applications, contractor selection and project management. There was never an issue that arose that was not immediately addressed and resolved. I trust them completely and they will continue to be our go to team for any future work on our home. :)

Our experience with Palette, Jeff, was wonderful. A 2 bedroom and 2 bathrooms apartment was fully renovated. The Kitchen was completely redesigned and enlarged. Jeff was instrumental in designing and recommending changes. The contractor was supervised and vendors were recommended.
At all times Jeff was accessible, responsive, and forthcoming. It was a pleasure to work with Palette and it made the renovation process less stressful. More...

Pallete Architecture did the interior design and many of the structural design elements for our 5,000 square-foot gut renovation of a Brooklyn townhouse.

To a person, they are a hard-working, resourceful and creative group.

For example, they designed and helped manage the fabrication of a very complex steel floating staircase that wound throughout the property from celler to skylight.

Their input and ideas sparked major improvements in our workflow. The kitchen and bath layout for inventive and cost-effective.

Throughout the project they went beyond the call of duty to ensure that everything was well organized and made sense from a budget and timetable perspective.
