What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Paying attention and anticipation. You have to watch everything that is going on and be prepared to race across the dance floor or climb on a chair to get the perfect shot.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
I always start my conversations asking about the client and what they are looking for. Everyone has different tastes and styles and my goal is to make sure we align.
What do you love most about your job?
The people. Whether shooting a wedding or a portrait session, I get to meet new people and hear their stories.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I love taking pictures and meeting people...and I love weddings. While I was college, I took a few photography courses and knew I really loved being in the darkroom (yes, people still used film then) and finding the perfect shot. After I graduated, I went to the Washington School of Photography and completed their professional certification program so I could better hone my skills.

Portraits
The story you are writing is like no one else's--why should your portraits be? My portrait packages give you everything you need to watch your story unfold and relish the moments you never want to forget.
Photo sessions are done on location, either in a natural setting such as a park, beach, city or your backyard or with a studio look in your own home. All sessions include an online gallery, where you can view, share, download and order the best images from your photo shoot.
Packages start at $250.
Professional Headshots
A professional headshot communicates pose, personality, and, well, professionalism. Individual headshot sessions can be taken studio style in your home or in a natural setting. Each session lasts 45 minutes, and you will be provided with 10-15 edited images for use on your website, book jacket, LinkedIn and more. Individual sessions cost $200.
