Gilad from Oria Builders, has been helping us realize our dream journey of remodeling of our 1950s home in Los Gatos to a modern contemporary residence. Choosing Gil has been the top difference between what I could call a good home and a great home! Gil has carried critical elements of timeliness, quality and a flawless work ethic at every step of the way over the past several months as we progressed from ground zero to a gorgeous new home. Just like several other families looking to remodel their home may have, we too had hit several bottlenecks on our journey may it be finances or challenges with suppliers. However, Gil has helped nail all of these issues with his experience and honest commitment to this project. He has always been extremely responsive to our questions and concerns whenever had them - on any weekday or even on those weekends when he wasn’t even working! He has a very high bar on quality, and demands the same from his team who are involved in the project - truly the difference his sense of ownership has brought about. Without us needing to remind him, he has always promptly communicated to us the progress on the project at every step of the way, may it be in form of photographs of the development, or sharing any items of concern early enough to prepare us for change. His solid network of suppliers has also helped us procure some of the best finished goods for reasonable prices. Gil is someone I can easily hand off a remodeling/construction project and get whatever I asked for - he just gets it. One of the key aspects we look for in any contractor is the breadth and quality of the network of suppliers they come with - and we were totally happy with the resources whom Gil brought in to do the job. Lat but not the least, time is money. Gil committed to a 6 month deadline that we were totally happy with and ended up wrapping up the project in 5 months with all the dynamics that came with it - Take that for timeliness with quality! Was very pleased for once after hiring many contractors and used to getting the run around with companies. This one was professional and you could tell they took pride In their work. I started with one project and decided to them give them the rest. 1. They told me up front issues I might have going the route I was going with my own internal planning. 2. They saved me money where they could. Instead of things costing more during the process , they showed me how to save. They truly work on a professional level and of course I want to refer others to them. 3. They were CLEAN. I wanted to go to Solar for a while now. After meeting with a few companies I met Gilad from Go Solar Direct. He was professional, reliable, and explained everything I need to know about solar systems and all the rebates (and a tax credit which I didn't really understand). I found out that I really needed a new roof and he suggested it since I was wanted solar. So I got a roof with a life time warranty Go Solar Direct crews were always on time, clean, and they updated me throughout the project.The best part was getting the electricity bill, which is lower than $10!
