The job itself was simple to comprehend and perform well, however, the upper management seems incompetent and unwilling to admit fault. If you aren't interested in moving up in the company it's great to do for a few years. More...

If everyone feels good while they are working out you know they will be coming back to continue their goals.
I really enjoyed working here.
The management is supportive and friendly, your co-workers are just as dedicated as you are.

I've been coming here whenever I am near since about May when I realized I needed to get my ass in gear. We can afford to buy new clothes; we have to fit the ones we own. I suppose a gym membership is cheaper. I did not think I would like Orangetheory but the workouts are fun and challenging. The coaches are supportive, and at this location, fun and funny. Today, I just finished a 90 minute workout with two coaches dressed as Santa and an elf. They kept everyone's moods elevated the whole time! I have met new people in class and we all have the same common goal in mind. About OTF: Each class consists of a warm up, and then you spend some time on the treadmill, rowing machine and in the floor/weight area, sometimes rotating back and forth. There are screens everywhere to keep you focused on managing your heart rate and in the weight area to show you proper form for the exercises that are also shown to you before you begin that section.Every class I have attended feel like a personal success at every studio but I must say, Point Loma is my favorite. The Solana Orangetheory studio is by far the best that I have been to! The studio is large and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. They also offer more classes in comparison to some smaller studios I've been to. Because of this and and larger studio the classes are easier to get into, which is nice when you realize at the last minute you have time to work out. Most importantly the coaches are AWESOME, shout out out to coach James! Before OT I was not very experienced in using workout equipment, but with help from the OT coaches I have been able to correct my form and become much more confident in the gym. Also a small thing that not all studios offer is they supply mints, spray deodorant and feminine products just in case you need any of these in a pinch before or after your workout. More...

After explaining how the class works, a coach will lend you a heart rate monitor to wear. Depending on your fitness level, your coach will give you guidelines for what to aim for during your workout. Membership sales representatives sell group packages and memberships to clients. They assist customers in selecting a fitness package as well as negotiate and prepare contracts. They also maintain records, answer customer questions, seek out new customers and follow up to make sure customers are satisfied with their purchases. TEN STARS PLEASE!I am very impressed by OTF and the staff/trainers at the Point Loma location! My friend and I tried our first class last night and I already feel like part of their "community". As we walked in, we were greeted BY NAME from Liv with a wild amount of positive energy. We chatted with her, DJ, and the coach from the 5:15 class while Bre walked us through the class and paperwork. When it was time for class to start, Bre walked us in, showed us how to use equipment, and introduced us to the coach for our session, Jeff. We were given free heart rate monitors for our first session, which made it fun to look up at the screen and push yourself into the orange and red zones for optimal calorie burning. Jeff was very kind and filled with high motivation and energy. He called my friend and I out by name several times in the class for working hard which made us feel like part of the group. Bre and Jeff both helped us with circuit questions and making sure we were doing everything properly. The class switches between rowers, treadmill, and weights. The workout pushes you pretty hard but you can go at your own pace without feeling pressured to do more or being judged. Example - you can fast walk at an incline instead of running. After the session, Jeff walked us through our stats, talked about our goals, and gave us huge high fives. The coach from the class before along with the other staff members also ran up to us giving us high fives and praised us on our workout. I was not fully expecting to sign up that night but after that class, the people, and the energy I had no choice but to sign up because I was so obsessed my with experience. Bre walked us through the pricing and allowed me to pay for the heart rate monitor in a payment plan which was great. I will say, I hate that I have to spend about $100 on their monitor for class BUT that is the only thing I disliked and to be honest it's not outrageous for the overall purpose.I really enjoy working out but like most it can feel like a chore sometimes. I can honestly say that I am beyond excited to go to my next class. (And go chat with the staff! ha!) Who gets this excited for their next workout Orangetheory members do!!! Great job Point Loma -Owners/management should be really proud!!! More...

I am extremely impressed with every aspect of Orangetheory. From the initial phone call to inquire about the services, to the first visit for an initial workout, to every workout since then . . . the experience is like no other! The trainers are extremely knowledgeable and the workouts are amazing! This is the type of workout that someone has to personally experience to understand how truly different it is from any other gym. This definitely gets my highest recommendation! More...

This isn't my favorite location, but I do enjoy it and there are many cool people. There used to be ample parking but not so much anymore, as it's in a busy area. My favorite coach is probably Conroy. He is funny, clear, energetic, and knows how to keep you motivated but also understands the rhythm of coaching and when to back off and let you enjoy the music and get into the zone. There's a female coach here that talks and talks the entire time. It's so frustrating. Trainers need to give instruction and cues, but man, with her class it's just nonstop chatter on the mic so you can't enjoy hitting your reps hard or going all out when the beat drops. Maybe she thinks it's motivating, but as constructive criticism - there needs to be peaks and valleys in coaching energy. Otherwise, I like this location and the front desk staff too More...

The customer service is amazing. I made an appointment, and was greeted by a friendly representative named Kayla who was not standing behind a desk; she was out in front of it, waiting on me to arrive! She showed me around the facility, answered my questions, and spoke with me about my future personal health goals. They could have had 20 new people in class today, but they treated me like I was their #1 priority. I was then flawlessly and seamlessly transitioned into meeting my class workout coach Alli (sp?) who was so encouraging, positive, uplifting, and great at singling out my successes throughout the workout, which keeps you motivated and ramped up! Thank you for that Alli! I am excited about the pace of the workouts, meeting my personal health goals, making new friends, and being my biggest competitor. There is absolutely no reason to feel self-conscious or intimidated at ALL! Come try out OrangeTheory just one time for free! That’s all it takes to get hooked into a new lifestyle:-) More...

Being a broke college student with lots of student loan debt, I'm unable to afford a membership here. However, my grad school instructor/mentor Candice encouraged me to try a free class here since my capstone has a primary focus on Orangetheory and fitness in general (she knows the owner of this business). Working out here was great! The front desk staff was very friendly and Trevor was awesome. My ultra-competitiveness came out when I saw how many splat points fellow members had been earning. It made me want to stay in the orange and red zones for as long as possible! Would love to move out here and become an official member many years from now. 5 out of 5 stars for today's experience! I’ve always hated working out... I enjoyed running, but anything else was never my cup of tea. Orangetheory sponsored me on my journey to Miss Kentucky & I immediately fell in love. Unlike any other classes I’ve ever been to, the trainers are always routing for you & encouraging to work as hard as you can (I’m really good at being lazy & doing the bare minimum but the encouragement keeps me away from that). I always look forward to working out now because of how fun everyone makes it. At Orangetheory, you’re not just another member, you’re a part of a family that is created at each studio. I’ve always felt so welcomed & supported when I’ve been at OTF. I am forever thankful for not only all of the friends I’ve made while working out, but for how my lifestyle has changed because of OTF.
