I have recently switched careers and wanted to write a book about my new theories on coaching couples on marriage as an alternative to traditional couples therapy. I worked with Elsa for over 3 months on a huge personal goal of mine, writing a book. Elsa kept me focused and on track through on the process. The first month was really easy. The 2nd month I hit the wall. Writer's block, self doubt, and feelings of not being "good enough" or having something important enough to write in a book started to plague my mind. I'm a perfectionist and Elsa stayed with me throughout the whole process. She kept challenging me to break it down into smaller and smaller bits until there was just no excuse to start. Once I started, getting back into the flow was easy. Elsa never took my power away. She stayed with me, at my level, with encouragement and support no matter what excuse I threw at her. Why should our clients choose you?
Elsa is an experienced, dually-certified coach! Keep in mind, the coaching industry is NOT regulated. This means anyone can call themselves a coach. A certified coach, on the other hand, is regulated by ICF (International Coaching Federation) standards. Professionals must uphold confidentiality included in the ICF Code of Ethics. Certified coaches are trained to use techniques, strategies and tools which will likely bring positive change within people. However, when misused or abused, it can impact a client’s life in very unpredictable ways.
