Keeping accurate books and maintaining full compliance with Federal laws and regulations is paramount for the success of any business. I am passionate about overhauling messy books! I feel a great sense of accomplishment when, after reconciling the accounts, my clients’ books are up to date, compliant, and readable. Accurate financials are critical for making operating and investing decisions, so I know my work greatly contributes to the success of my clients.
I love coaching and mentoring my clients to instill in them the habit of following best practices for Accounting and Bookkeeping. I believe that most business owners would benefit from being acquainted with general Accounting principles so they can better understand the nature of transactions, how the money flows in and out, and even being able to recognize when there’s an error present.

Throughout all my years of work experience with a variety of companies (ranging from small ones to $40MM yearly revenue entities), I noticed that it was quite common to encounter business owners, board members, and even in some cases, Accountant peers who did not fully understand the finances of their own company. Another common pattern I spot was that Accounting departments are heavily dependent and utterly involved with other critical departments such as Sales, Operations, Purchasing, etc. and therefore there is room for interdepartmental pressure on Accounting to operate in ways not necessarily correct, accurate, or efficient.
Being conscious of the importance of Bookkeeping and Accounting, and how our actions (or lack of) can either drive a business to success or drag it to financial losses, I decided to start my own practice to teach the beauty of Accounting; educate customers in best practices; help my clients saving time and money; and, above all, staying compliant.
