Me and my wife Lindsay started training with Dylan hoping he could teach us to live with our out of control GSD/ Pit mix Lexi. Everyday seemed like a stressful day, and it wasn’t enjoyable to have a dog that doesn’t listen. Dylan was very professional, and an awesome trainer to work with. From the first ten minutes of the private session, I great weight was lifted off our back when we saw how he handled Lexi. At the end of our 4th session we had a completely new dog. She comes when called at the first attempt, walks on a leash without pulling, can Place on pretty much any object she fits on, and stays on Place and Down for sometimes an hour or more. My boyfriend and I felt that we couldn’t control our dog, Grizz, and were at the end of our rope. Treats stopped working and nothing would stand in the way of Grizz when he because focused on something. He was very reactive and anxious and almost unbearable to take for a walk since he would yank and bark aggressively the whole time, especially when another dog would walk by. Grizz had also nipped at a neighbor that reached over our fence and nipped at another person while on a walk. We did some research and found Off-Leash K9 Toledo and I’m sure glad we did! Michelle reached out to us when we inquired about the 2 week board and train. Michelle listened to our frustrations with Grizz and what we would like to be improved. Michelle was very knowledgeable and made us feel at ease about the process! The experience for the 2 week board and train was nothing short of amazing! We would be contacted everyday with messages, videos, and pictures of Grizz. He looked so happy and made drastic improvements! Michelle and Dylan were awesome and responded quickly whenever we had a question! They even continued to contact us and answer any questions we had after the training was over. We were skeptical about the training style that Michelle and Dylan use, so it took us a long time to decide to have them work with our sweet Bearded Collie Cooper. He has always been exuberant and loving, but jumping on people wasn't always welcomed. After their two week Boot Camp and our continuing his training, he has shown a desire to learn and please us and is on the way to becoming a perfect gentleman. Over the last 8 weeks I have had the most amazing experience with Off Leash and Terrance. I adopted my two year old male pitbull Carlos almost two years ago. He was abused by his previous owner and had a really rough life prior to me rescuing him. His past traumas cause him severe anxiety and fear aggression. Carlos is a very powerful and strong willed dog. I had no idea how to control him and after taking him to basic obedience classes and other local trainers, I was not satisfied as they could not "fix" him and I was left feeling hopeless.I decided to give Off Leash a try after many of my clients in the area have used them to train their dogs and have had great experiences. I went with the 8 week Aggression/Anxiety Package. At first I was a little unsure of the ecollar, but after expressing that at our first lesson Terrance had me put my hand out and feel the stimulation and that gave me the reassurance that it was not hurting my dog.I was not sure what to expect going into this, but I was extremely satisfied with the fact that even after the first lesson, my very stubborn dog picked up on everything Terrance had taught us. Fast forward several weeks and I can't even believe Carlos and I have made the amount of progress we have. Most importantly he LISTENS. After we learned the basic commands that we needed to during the first four lessons, we started working in public so I can learn how to have control of him in situations where he is around his triggers, which I would try to avoid all together in the past. Terrance would walk me through what I needed to do after every lesson, correct me immediately if I was doing something incorrect, and was extremely responsive if I had questions at home. I am no longer anxious when I have people over or take him in public. The ecollar has given both my dog and myself so much confidence. Off Leash has given me the foundation I needed to have better control over my dog. I couldn't be happier with my experience and I cannot wait to set up more lessons in the future! More...

Michelle and Dylan did so great with dog. She would get excited and jump on the back of my legs. After the 2 week board and train, she did not do that anymore. They also sent pictures and videos daily that really helped with the separation of my beloved pupper. Dylan did a really great job of teaching me how to properly continue training. WORTH EVERY PENNY! We couldn't be happier with our experience with Off Leash K9 Training Toledo. Our 4 yr old dog had many undesirable behaviors, despite reading dog training books and attending two 8-week once weekly training sessions at another training facility. We had nearly lost hope and thought that these behaviors were "just her personality" and something we would have to live with. Boy were we wrong. Since completing training with Off Leash Toledo, she is an entirely different dog! She is so obedient and well-behaved, better than we could have ever imagined. Terrance was so easy to work with, seemed to truly care about our dog, communicated throughout the process, and has been an excellent resource to us even months later. Our training went very well and our fears of how the collar might 'change' our dog's personality were unfounded. We've gone from having an energetic, unruly pup that walked us to one we can let off leash for a quick game of fetch almost anywhere. We highly recommend.

As I draft this review, our girl is in an extended “place-down” position concentrating, happy, and holding station. A true joy to witness her working and disciplined, yet content while observing a bustling distraction riddled world outside. Like a myriad of reviews before ours, the board-train program is without question a quality investment. Michelle and Dylan executed a top-shelf service and we could not be happier. Daily updates consisting of photos and video supplemented with commentary addressing questions, tips, and overall progress keep the client engaged and informed. From distraction proofing to general obedience, the program hones key areas within the span of two weeks. I highly recommend Off Leash Training! My dog had a strong prey drive and would chase
and sometimes catch my chickens. I can now take her outside with me and she listens!
No chickens have been harmed since the training!
I also had a hard time walking her. She would constantly pull and run. I can now take her anywhere and she walks right beside me!!! I can enjoy my walks with her now!!!
I missed her while she was gone but Michelle sent pictures and videos everyday! They did a great job training her and us!!!

I truly can’t thank you guys enough for what you did for our family! Life at home with Winnie is so much easier and it’s been so stress free since she’s been home. We have had no potty accidents and we are finally able to walk our dog without being dragged. Thank you for all of the videos and photos of her daily while we were missing her. We took our 6 month old Chesapeake Bay Retriever to Off Leash K9 for the 2 week boarding training, and has hard as it was to not have Dakota at home it was worth every bit of missing him! Dylan and Michelle were positively fantastic! They taught Dakota to sit, extended sit, down, place, place-down, drop, and heel (both on and off leash). They also taught the "off" command to correct random behaviors not wanted, like jumping up or nipping people. During the training they would send pictures and videos of Dakota’s process. After Dakota came home if we had/have questions both Dylan and Michelle are extremely responsive. In one case our dog has sensitive skin and we needed to switch out the collar, again amazing customer support and feedback. They ordered the new collar and sent directly to us. When we have questions or need fine tuning they are more than willing to help. They are both extremely knowledgeable about dogs, very patient, and you can tell how much they love the profession they have chosen. You will not be disappointed with Off Leash K9!! More...

So I waited a little while to post a review. Let me just say the money was so worth it!!! Our Siberian Husky Addie went from being one of hardest head dogs we had to the best dog ever. When we first got her home she tried to get over on us a few times. We kept up with all of the commands and training they taught us and her. Once she realized we meant business her attitude totally changed. They are so amazing the whole time she was away we got pictures and videos. Even now that she's been home for over a month they still keep in contact with us to see how everything is going. We take her almost everywhere with us. Our GSD Wolfgang had been through previous training programs and knew some basic commands. But would only comply when he wanted to. As he grew he became reactive to other dogs and certain people. He constantly pulled on the leash and my wife could not even walk him. It was difficult for me as well. He jumped on people and I was afraid someone was going to get hurt. I own a martial arts school and worked hard trying to train him on my own. While I was getting some results it wasn't working out under distraction or when Wolfgang wasn't hungry for treats. I contacted ******** and met ***** for evaluation. I could tell right away they were professionals. My dog took to them right away too. I signed up for 2 week board and train. I received daily updates and video of the progress. It was almost unbelievable the difference I was seeing. Now Wolfgang has good manners and can be trusted off leash around people and other dogs. This training is a great investment and the quality of life for Wolfgang is much better. He now can accompany us almost anywhere and working with him is a pleasure. I have never written a review for a company before but feel compelled to in this case. It is refreshing to find a company that overdelivers on what they promise. Okay where do I even start how wonderful off leash K9 training is! My two year old pit bull had no manners at all & would make it really difficult taking both him and my 1 year old daughter in public together because he would not listen to me. Zeus completed the two week board and train and has been home for about two months. Now Zeus listens to me & it is relaxing and enjoyable taking Zeus & my daughter on walks and parks together. Dylan & Michelle gave him the training he needed plus more! I am more then satisfied with the results! They treat your dog like there own. Right when I met them I got the best positive vibe from them. I knew Zeus would be save with them. Michelle would send me videos of Zeus & I could tell he wasn't only learning but also having fun, which made me very happy! It's easy to tell they love what they do & is great at it! I sent my German Shepherd ***** to ******* for the 2 week board and train back in November. I wanted to wait to give my review to see how well the training lasted with just me and him. I can honestly say that ***** came home the same happy go lucky dog that I had before the training, but he is so much better behaved. He focuses on me more and while he is still crazy at times, it is much easier to get him under control. I was hesitant to spend the money and go without my baby for 2 weeks, but I definitely recommend it to anyone who is on the fence about it. ******* was wonderful while she had ****** I got texts, videos, and pictures at least every other day and she always responded very quickly when I texted her. I have since contacted her about a couple of questions about his training and she again responded very quickly. Before his training, if he got off his leash, he would just run around and completely ignore me. After the training, while I was being taught the commands, ***** was on a leash but it just dragged behind him pretty much the entire time. Any time he got distracted or went to wander, all it took was saying his name or "come" and he came right back to us. I am so happy that I sent ***** to her for training.
