Off Leash K9 Training - Southern Utah

I am so so grateful to OLK9 for what they’ve done for our family!!! Our sweet Kaya dog was reactive to the point where it was diminishing our quality of life. It was hard to take her anywhere or even relax because we were always worried and embarrassed about her causing a scene anytime she saw a human or dog. I found these trainers on the internet. They have the highest reviews of any dog trainers in the area (for a reason as they are the BEST!), plus they specialize in aggressive and reactive dogs. And as a bonus, their goal is to train the dog to be 100% obedient OFF LEASH! I watched sooo many training videos they made showing them taking a dog from horrible obedience to great obedience in two weeks. I knew that was what I wanted for Kaya—to be able to take her anywhere, on leash or off, around dogs or other people and have her remain calm and responsive and stop barking when I tell her to. I was nervous about leaving her for 2 weeks but Brian and Liz and Haley were so kind to us, sent us videos of Kaya’s progress, and answered my million-and-a-half questions. The moment that I realized this training would change our whole lives was when they sent me a video of Kaya laying down next to a car with two huge barking dogs in it. Total obedience and trust, where before she would be uncontrollably barking and stressing us all out. I’ve had so many moments like that since then. She’s always been the best dog ever to us, but now she’s also living her best life. She gets to run free off leash almost everywhere we go and listens obediently to every command. You can tell how much calmer and more confident she is. Today we went to Horseshoe Bend and she walked calmly and confidently next to me as we passed by hundreds of people and dogs and even let random strangers pet her. When she gets in a situation now that used to cause her to be reactive, she looks to me and allows me to calm her down. She only gets better with this and our bond has only grown stronger in the last 6 months since we sent her to “doggy boarding school”. I have learned so much about her, how to handle her and get what I want out of her, how to watch her and read her emotions, how to treat her and communicate with her. Our whole relationship has changed for the better after working with OLK9. Every experience has been the highest level of professionalism and friendship. Honestly you can tell these people love your dog almost as much as you do :) I can’t thank them enough, I know it sounds cheesy but they have absolutely changed our lives. Off-Leash K9 Training is definitely worth your money with out a doubt! I can truly say that i will always take my business to Bryan , Liz and Hailey. Bryan, Liz and Hailey communicated very well, sent us videos and pictures of our Golden Retriever to update us on his progress. Jaxx’s (Golden Retriever) trainer was Hailey. I don’t even know where to start in regards to her. Hailey was absolutely amazing, caring, dedicated, professional and went above and beyond to get my pup trained. After only 4 lessons our puppy has more confidence and is so well behaved. She is still a puppy but she doesn't get out of control in stressful situations, she has learned to look to us and rely on what she has been taught. I didn't realize what a difference there was until sharing dog stories with my friends and hearing their puppy drama. So glad we chose to do obedience classes. What an amazing experience! Hailey has helped us turn our boy, Kache, into a confident happy puppy, and us into happy parents (no longer embarrassed by his out of control “enthusiasm” when greeting others). He went from destructive and sad to a model citizen and happy. We just completed the beginning obedience course and tested our skills at the little league baseball fields today. What a special day! One month ago this field trip would have ended in disaster. But after a month of Hailey’s expert training, for both Kache and us, it was a great success! Kache heeled, sat, placed, and downed his way through the fields, packed with kids, dogs, scooters, bikes, food and lots of screaming and cheering. He stayed focused and intent on the job at hand. Nothing and no-one distracted him from his mission. I think he was showing off for Hailey too, as he just adores her. We are going to continue on with the advanced training, and look forward to us learning all these skills “off leash” as well. We’ve been sneaking off leash in when the circumstances seems appropriate. He’s responding so well. Next adventure - Cal Ranch and Home Depot... Again, the most amazing experience! Bryan with Off Leesh K9 training is truly amazing. He shows an extremely high amount of pride in what he does. I took my than six month old German Shepherd, Leo, to Bryan. Leo was extremely hyper and honestly not very pleasant to be around. After the basic obedience package was complete Leo was completely different. We now walk OFF LEESH around our city’s parks and trails....with other dogs and distractions. I highly recommend Bryan and Off leesh K9 to anyone looking to get their best friend some training. I had no idea a dog could be this well behaved. My husband takes our dog to work with him and he's constantly being asked how old she is. Bryan made training our large dog easy. If you follow a few easy steps you will have a well trained dog. No more jumping on people as soon as they enter our house, we now in control of our dog and he is now happier just following simple direction. We have completed the basic training and it was so good we are now doing the advanced training! Our dog was very stubborn and reactive to other animals. He is now compliant and we can go on walks without worrying what his reaction will be to other animals. We have even been able to go off leash with him on trails and he is loving it. I would like to say that I 110% recommend Off-Leash K9 training for your dog. My dog Precious is such a happy, hyper, and loving dog but she needed help. She was a lot to handle. Literally after the very first training we went to she transformed into a completely different dog. She listens now, she follows commands now!!! I can play with her in my front yard and I do not stress over her being off her leash because she follows directions and listens when I tell her to do something. I can not even being to say how grateful I am for this amazing training program and all the work that has been done with her by Brian and Haley. I want to say how incredibly happy I am with the training that was given to my Sweet dog Precious. She was a lot to handle and after just one training she had become a completely different dog. After that things just continued to get better and better. She has learned new commands and follows directions better than I could have ever imagined. K9 offleash training changed our lives! Our German Shorthair Pointer (extremely hyper breed) can now do the following which he could not do 4 lessons ago: come in the house and be around our 1 year old son, we can leave him alone in the house. Bring him on walks and he will walk next to us, we can place him wherever we want and he will stay until released. He use to tackle me and my son down and was too big and overpowering it was dangerous. He no longer jumps on us or strangers. And he does more, sit, down, come...etc The best part is we are able to bond with Moose now. We almost gave him away especially with our brand new baby at the time. Off-Leash K9 Training and Bryan are amazing! I am not new to dog training and the mental aspects of a dog, but I have learned so much from Bryan. He explains what we are teaching my dog and why. My dog, Tango, and I have completed 4 lessons and I have a completely different dog. Even though Tango was certified as a service dog before, Bryan has truly fine tuned everything about Tango. I am confident that I can take Tango to school, grocery stores, and other places now! I just signed up for another 4 lessons and I am so excited to start them. What Bryan and Liz were able to accomplish with our boy, Finnegan, is nothing short of a miracle. We dreaded anyone coming to the door to the point that we had stopped inviting people over. Taking him for a walk was a chore because he would pull to get to anyone we met along the way, then he would jump all over them. Children were afraid of him. In just four sessions he is a changed dog and we are changed dog owners because now we know what to do to keep him behaving. We couldn't be more pleased and Finn seems to be a much happier dog. There are not enough words to describe how happy we are that we decided to have Bryan and Liz train our Mini Goldendoodles, Bogy and Stella. The results of the 2 week program were amazing. We took our dog at 10 months for the board and train program we are also training for him to be a support dog for our daughter they have done a amazing job with our Oliver and even kept our puppy while we were on vacation . Words can not describe our experience with Bryan and Liz. We have an abused rescue beagle/pitbull that got away with murder because we had a soft spot for his past. Well my wife is pregnant and along with that he started showing aggressive tendencies with a neighbor dog. This led us to make the call to Off-Leash K9 so we could get a handle on the situation before we had a baby in the house. We did a free evaluation with Liz who explained the process and the different options for training. She could have pitched us the highest price option which is the 2 week board and train, however she saw that our dog had a decent baseline and suggested a much much cheaper option. Unbeknownst to her we had already talked and with our schedules with fluctuating and unpredictable late nights at work, we could not in good conscience agree to lesson times knowing we would have to cancel and reschedule a lot. We knew the board and train was the option for us and let her know that.

That was the best decision we have ever made. I will not lie, when we left we were instantly feeling some buyers remorse, not about them, but about whether our dog was going to show the same level of improvement as all the videos you see online. What instantly reduced our stress and something we actually looked forward to was the videos they would send us to show the progress he was making. These came to be something we would show our family when we were all together.

It all came to a conclusion last night when we got to pick up our brand new dog (i'm still not convinced they didnt switch him for a new dog lol). Both Liz and Bryan spent almost 2 hours with us making sure we could continue his program with confidence. The best sight was watching my wife walk him for the 1st time ever and seeing our dog glued to her side without a leash. Being part pitbull he is very strong and she was never able to control him on a leash so she wouldn't walk him in fear that something would happen that she couldn't handle. Today she wakes up upset that she has to work because all she wants to do is spend the day with him and take him out.

The love and affection they showed to our dog was unbelievable. You could see the bond they formed over the past 2 weeks and how they were upset to see him go.

If you are thinking of having your dog trained and are looking for true professionals that go above and beyond, do yourself and favor and stop right here and call them ASAP. I promise you will not regret it. More...

Very Excellent trainers ! I am slow glad they started there business down in southern utah , they were definitely life savers . They trained me and mostly my dog (german shepherd ) , which I never thought my dog would be well mannered and I was worried about his fear aggression and slightly thinking about selling my dog , but my dog trainers said give us a try and holy smokes they did a terrific job ! thanks again ! I have been seeing Bryan and Liz for 4 weeks now for my fur baby . They are absolutely AMAZING. Training has been going so well and not only does my dog love them , but we do too . I was certainly not looking forward to our first session with one of our raall hounds but they soon put our minds at ease.

This is obviously top notch professional training and it seems to be well worth the rather high cost, if you are dedicated to the care of your pets.

If I could give more stars I would. We had them work with our newfypoo puppy chewbacca and they are amazing. They take time with training. They answer every single question I asked ( and I asked a lot hahaha) they send photos. Videos
We also have a Frenchie who 4 years old we did a training kinda like this -not this company- in San Diego and it was such a waste of money. We will be sending her to them FOR sure.

Bryan and Liz literally changed my life. My French Bulldog was completely out of control. I was constantly in fear and basically trapped in my house. Everything I did was revolved around how to protect my dog from his own reactivity. I cringed when someone would come to the door, or walk past my house because my dog was a complete maniac. I brought him home at 13 weeks and I knew pretty quickly that he had reactivity issues. I was able to teach him basic commands but I could not teach him obedience. I just did not know how to work with him. I had met with Liz and Bryan and had decided to do weekly training. However, Before we could really start training my little dog finally reached his peak of aggression. On an evening walk he bit a neighbor that approached us. I was distraught. I was at the end of my rope. I was considering re-homing my little love bug. I love him with everything I have, so believe me the decision was heart wrenching. I decided that the two week board and train was my final line of defense.
Bryan and Liz were so understanding of my situation and open and honest with their training methods. I genuinely felt like there was hope. I dared to have faith that they could save my relationship with my dog.
After the two week board and train, I can truly tell you that my dog is a different dog. The changes are unfathomable. I never dreamed that my little frenchie could actually be a part of society. I thought I would have to keep him hidden away in my house for his entire life. But now... we can walk through busy parks, and go in public places without so much as a hiccup. I know there is still work that has to be done daily and we are up to the task.
On a personal note- Bryan and Liz were amazing. They gave ME so much confidence in my ability to overcome my anxiety while working with him. They answer every text, even now that he is home they still talk me through every situation that comes up. If there is anyone considering the board and train my advice to you would be YES. They will give your dog the BEST training available. They will go out of their way to make you and your dog a priority. They will give you the tools to take back your life. Bryan and Liz took our American bulldog, Ari, for training.  Before taking him to them we struggled with some obedience issues.  When we got him back, he was like a different dog.  We were so pleased with all of the things he learned with them and that we could take him everywhere without worrying about him acting crazy!
